Strongate View Apartment - cosy stylish rural Jurassic coast & Bridport nearby

My husband and I had a lovely stay on our mini break in West Dorset. The location was perfect for us to travel around Bridport, Lyme Regis and Charmouth. The owner Tessa communicated well and gave me precise and clear direction to the property. Also the fresh cream tea with homemade scone was the highlight. The property had a great view over the beautiful Dorset countryside. We had everything we need on our stay. The property was clean and quiet and we had a great stay on our short break. We definitely will come back in the future.

Everything was spot on.

Living/kitchenette space small, but very well laid out so this was not an issue for a short stay. Kitchenette well equipped although as you'll need to be organised/tidy as with any small kitchen. Bedroom a good size with a comfortable bed. Sitting in the living room is lovely as there is a large window with a low sill so you can see the wonderful view the whole time. Shower room clean and good to use with a good shower. Communication from Tess before arrival was helpful and pleasant. We were able to arrive a bit earlier than Booking.com says (I would guess this depends on circumstances on the day however). Cream tea waiting on arrival much appreciated.

Exactly as described. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, comfortable, lovely added extras of a cream tea and fresh flowers! Wonderful view. Dog friendly. Good communication from host with directions and queries. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Beautiful apartment, clean well laid out and well maintained. A nice big living area and a large comfortable bedroom. There was a well kitted out kitchen area too. Stunning views over the valley, and the sunset viewed through the big picture window was stunning! Our host Tessa was lovely too.

What a great little place to stay!! A cream tea on arrival, lovely touch, especially to a weary traveller. Spotlessly clean. Ideal location and what a view !! Glorious!!

Very clean, hosts super helpful and you can find in the apartment everything you might need or not. Lots of games to keep you busy, excellent vow and shower it is so nice. Great location, close to the beach, woodlands walks and far from the noisy beach town. Small village with a pub at a walking distance and many more just a few min away by car or a taxi. Highly recommend to be visited and experience a rural stay away. I must mention the local milk supplied and a freshly baked scones with a local clotted cream we discovered at arrival.

Not as many walking distance bubs as we expected. But we shoul have check in advance.
