"Great flat but not so cozy"

Lovely set up and everything was provided that was needed for a short stay. Beds were comfortable and the flat was spacious.
We were freezing. Coming from Australia we don't have central heating but all other places we stayed over the previous 5 weeks had heat that came on automatically, or provided clear instructions on how to work it. The heat hadn't turned on by 10pm so we had to go to bed to warm up, luckily the duvet was super warm and we slept well. It was also quite a way from the tourist areas of York and we didn't have a car, but it didn't rain so we could walk.

Beautiful place to stay, had all the amenities we could need.
Might be worth making people aware that you can hear people.coming in at night when you are in the front bedroom as it did wake me up. I know it can't be helped but if you're a light sleeper it would be good to know before arriving as I would have brought ear plugs.

We had a 1 night stay on a trip to York. Clare was a very responsive host and The Cosy Fox was perfect for our needs and a great bonus that it's dog friendly. Plenty of space for two couples. Not too far from the city centre and a very competitive nightly rate. Can highly recommend.

Great location, quiet street, lovely big bed only slight down side was position of the tv - not clearly seen from the sofa. Wall mount perhaps?
