Unknown to us the kitchen and lounge were shared with other guests. When we arrived the shared area was a disgusting mess which was soon cleaned up and the cigarette smoke smell was very strong. Very unsettling to see a strange man (another guest) standing there just staring at us. A very clean, small and modern bedroom and bathroom with a comfy bed. The owner kept in contact with us all day as our train was delayed and was waiting for us as we walked up to the door. A 10 minute walk to where we needed to board out cruise.

The location is great with a 3 min walk to the center. Lovely home away from home.

The location is fine, though be aware that the church bells start ringing very loudly at 7 AM – not ideal for light sleepers.

We were very disappointed with our stay. The price-performance ratio is extremely poor, and it feels like the focus is only on earning money, not on providing a good guest experience. Cleanliness was an issue – we found hair on the pillow and in the bathroom. The toilet seat was broken, and according to a review from January, this problem has existed for months without being fixed. The toilet brush was in terrible condition. There were also no toiletries provided – no soap, no shampoo – even though these were listed as included. We arrived after a long journey and had to shower with just water. Completely unacceptable. The kitchen was barely equipped: only one small pot and a frying pan. It's hard to understand why basic improvements haven't been made. These are low-cost fixes, yet nothing seems to be addressed. We definitely won’t return. Unfortunately, it seems the owner does not care about guest comfort at all.
