poor Breakfast. The structure was still under construction and there wasn' t any place where to have breakfast

The place was clean. check in was quick...Room was comfortable. A/C was good in both the rooms. enough plug points and the room provide an good desk to use use for any conf call. Comparitevely a new setup so everything was working..

Hot water late at night is a challenge as the property depends on solar water heaters Had to remind multiple time for some toiltet acceesories.

The owner told us at the time of our stay it was 3 months old. The rooms were pleasant, well maintained and nice decor. Air conditioning and wifi worked well. Good amount of space in the rooms including a large working fridge.

Our stay was not consistent with the glowing reviews the property received. We stayed 2 nights. The property is 25 minutes walk to the Odayam beach and about 30 minutes walk to Varkala beach. It is not positioned in nice location. It is on a road where you can hear noise (but this can be drowned out with fan). The roads for walking aren’t nice but would be fine if you have car/scooter. The owner offered us to rent scooter but we didn’t take this option. There were many mosquitos and a squashed dead baby geeko in kitchen cupboard. Something we really didn’t like was that on check out we were asked to pay 70 rupees for each small cup of chai tea that was served to us on our breakfast tray. We booked a breakfast included rate so this was a surprise to us. To put it into context at a nearby cafe we bought 2 x chai tea, 2 x plantain and 2 x fried plantain for 60 rupees total. The cost was not a problem but it was not nice hospitality. We stayed in cheaper places in Munnar/Thekkady/Kumarakom with far better breakfast and more generous portions with good hospitality. I wouldn’t stay at this property if we visit Varkala again

Amenities are still missing, Breakfast is not up to mark. Location Wise ok ok.
