"Exceptional"

Good location, garden worked well for the dogs, comfortable living area and kitchen.

Just a couple of points, the bath towels were a little on the small side and parking a larger car in the driveway was a little tight getting in and out.

"Lovely position, comfy but dated"

Location is great, tucked behind the main village

Needs a bit spending on it. Decor, linens and furnishings are dated and it feels a bit like staying at your grandma’s.

Almost everything

The cleaners could do a better job. It certainly didn't spoil my stay at all, everything else was fantastic. There was a lot of dust and is was clear it hadn't been throughly cleaned for some time. Really not the end of the world and it didn't detract from a very pleasant stay. Would definitely stay again.

The Old Barn's location could not be better, and the private parking was a godsend. The Barn was very well equipped to suit our needs, the complementary milk and biscuits we're well received. The garden is lovely, it is secure, fog friendly, and a lovely spot for sitting out in the sunshine after exploring. The only negatives are that on closer inspection, The Old Barn is tired in some places and needs a little tlc in places. However, that did not in any way spoil our time there.

Mould around the bath seal and the shower screen, the toilet brush was awful to say the least and the bathroom flooring needs replacing. Also, the information book needs updating, as the petrol station is now permanently closed and the local pub menus have changed. However, that did not in any way spoil our time there.

"Cosy warm property in a fantastic location"

The property was warm, cosy, and well equipped. The milk and biscuits were a nice touch. We liked the layout, and we liked the enclosed garden, which was safe for our dog. The location was excellent, so close to the village centre. Instructions on how to get there and access the property were detailed. Overall, this is a lovely property in a beautiful area. We can recommend it, and would stay there again.
