Relaxing Home With SF Bay View

Directions and description of the place could be clearer to those unfamiliar with the area. Once the number was located on the street, it wasn't immediately clear where to go. But, maybe that's just me :)

It wasn't a cottage, (false advertising) it's a structure under their house next to the garage. Kitchen very cramped; toaster needed to be on the floor, utensils were in the livingroom. We didn't cook because of space. No large bowls or glasses. The TV kept going offline and spent a lot of time trying to get it to work. Another false advertisement was grill availability; three grills on the other side of the fence but the gate was locked. No access to the outdoors except for the 'patio' off the sliding door of the bedroom but no seating and no view unless you stood up and peered over the fence. Front of 'cottage' lined with dead plants to the right. The writing desk area was in a cave without windows. The windows in the place faced concrete walls. The chest of drawers was also in the livingroom and the bed had sharp wooden edges at the foot that gave us bruises because the room was cramped. Not enough end tables for the couch seating. Nice and clean but that's about it. Never once did we feel relaxed. Also, a couple walls had spackle on them in areas where it should have been painted and ready. I am not one to give a bad review but this place was not what we thought they said it would be. A hotel would have been a better option.

Nice place with everything needed. Very clean and cozy. Private parking in front of the house. Supermarkets nearby, close to the airport SFO. Self-check-in is available.

There is not washing machine, if it is important for you. You need a car to reach SF.
