Great location. The SIGA bus terminal ( both airport bus and 113) was across the street. A shopping center with a good supermarket 2 min walk. Place has washing machine and drier (you need to bring the washing powder). The owner was very communicative and brought things we asked for.

We had to ask for salt, pepper, dish washing liquid, coffee ( the owner brought them after we asked her)

Si je lui attribue pas 10/100, c’est qu’il est difficile de trouver cette adresse à 1h du matin. Le logement répondait absolument à nos souhaits ( très proche du centre ville, à côté d’un centre commercial - supermarché compris - qui ferme à 22h - et en face d’un parking à 4€50 par jour. Clair, ensoleillé, un balcon matinal au soleil pour le(s) café du matin une superbe y sur la montagne et la promesse de la mer à 10 mn à pied. Fermez bien les fenêtres, profitez de l’isolation sonore et dormez comme des anges. Je ne sais pas si j’en ai croisées, mais, moi, qui ai du mal à dormir, je faisais des nuits mdr bébé.

De locatie. Helemaal top. Heel netjes en schoon. Voorzien van alle benodigdheden. Vriendelijke gastvrouw. Strand en veel bezienswaardigheden waren op loopafstand en een goede busverbinding. Echt een aanrader.

Great location next to the Plaza shopping centre which has the Pingo Doce supermarket on the ground floor. There's a bus station on the opposite side of the road and the number 9 airport bus can be caught from bay 8 which was useful. Short walk of about 10-15 minutes to the old town and port front. Apartments aren't signposted very well so it is easy to miss the main door from the street. There is a lift in the building when you enter which takes you to the third floor where the apartments were located. Apartment was spacious and open plan design with kitchen (fridge, microwave, kettle, hob, dishwasher). Sofa bed available (but no extra bedding) and dining area with table and chairs, additional table and chairs on the balcony. Bed was ok, great shower and there was a shared laundry room with washing machine and dryer for all guests. The host was very good at communicating when we booked the apartment and prior to arrival. Instructions on how to locate keys were sent via email on the day of check in although would have preferred it to be over WhatsApp to make it easier.

We asked to leave our bags as we arrived before check in at 4pm and although we were told that would be ok, we were not told where. The apartment had a broken lamp, the TV remote control wasn't working, some of the furniture was stained and it smelt musty like there was a problem with the drains. We had to buy cleaning products from the supermarket and put it down the toilet to get rid of the smell but it lasted for a couple of days. Did contact the host about it but didn't get a reply until the next day when we were out on a tour unfortunately. It got cold overnight and although we turned up the temperature on the heating, it didn't seem to make any difference and wasn't working. We didn't see the host /anyone during our entire stay to ask for help or to answer our questions. There were few amenities in the kitchen and bathroom (coffee pods for the machine, dishwasher tablet and hand soap) so we had to buy some extra things.

Great location and there is a very close parking area with reasonable prices. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need.

Tried reaching out to the owner via Booking’s messages and never got a response.
