Lovely location, pods very clean and had everything we needed

Me and my partner stayed for one night and it was lovely we would definitely stay again! location was great , beautiful garden, pod was warm and cosy, staff were very helpful and friendly. We were both shocked at how clean the shared toilets were they were spotless!

The layout to the glamping grounds we lovely, the wildlife and the facilities were fantastic! The pods were nice and warm at night but could be lovely and airy in the day if you wanted them to be. The pictures don’t do it justice of how beautiful the owners have made it. You have your own private beer garden with a tv and space to have your own bbq’s, although there is a fully equipped kitchen with every piece of kit you could want available to use 24/7.

I personally found the beds to be incredibly comfy even in our budget lodge but my girlfriend (who granted already suffers with back issues) didn’t find it very comfy. That is the only thing I could possibly think of to put in this section! We had a fantastic time and absolutely would love to come again!

Everything! Location was perfect, short taxi ride away from York centre only cost £10. Facilities were spot on, they have thought of everything! Can’t fault it at all, would definitely recommend. We sat and used the bbq areas and kept our food in the communal fridge, they had a communal chimnea fire and provided lots of wood. Showers were lovely and we even walked round to the little farm and saw the pigs and sheep. Bought cakes from the farm shop and they had lots of selections of meats for the bbq! We stayed in very hot weather and they had provided fans, also had a heater in the cupboard for the winter too! Loved our stay and are definitely booking again.

Clean, communal, comfy

Close to York, lovely calm area and grounds where the pods are, spacious inside the pod for 2, good clean facilities. It was easy to put the bed together. We got taxis to and from the site into York centre which was easy to navigate by uber. Even then it was cheaper than the most budget hotels. I hope it stays that way, we will be back! Great stay!

Nothing to dislike, was a lovely stay and I highly recommend. In colder months I’d bring a warm dressing gown or oodie to walk back and forth from the showers in - I wish I had done!
