"Great option to stay to explore Genoa and Liguria by train"

Location close to Bringole station— perfect for exploring Genoa and the rest of Liguria by train. We did a lot of day trips by train from there which I absolutely recommend to everyone— Santa Margherita Ligure - Portofino, Camogli, Nervi, Sestri Levante, Cinque Terre, etc. It was essential that we saved a lot of time and efforts by getting to/from the train to the apartment. The 24/7 supermarket with a decent assortment is close too. The apartment itself is as in the pictures, coffee machine is a big plus. Kitchen and washing machine, comfortable bed.

There is a problem with hot/cold water flow. Hot water may unexpectedly change with cold and you have to wait for quite a long time for it to become hot again. And then it becomes too hot and you have to adjust again. Guess it’s not the owners fault but this was an inconvenience. We stayed in December-January so it was heating season but the heating was on and off according to the city schedule (which I guess is like that in all of Italy). When the heating was off it got quite chilly in the apartment. The sunlight is not reaching the apartment unfortunately. One side windows look north and the other side in the bedroom and bathroom looks south but it’s blocked by the wall of the neighbouring building. Other than that, I liked the apartment! And if not these factors, I’d rate it 10/10.

The location beside the train station was very convenient. The apartment was spacious, quiet and very comfortable. Andrea kindly met us at the apartment as arranged. We were given information about the area and were told to contact him at any time if we needed assistance. If we are back in Genoa we will definitely stay there again.
