Great hosts, great property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Steps down to the property can be precarious, but they let us use the garage door entrance so it was fine. If you can’t do stairs it’s not the place for you.

Beautiful surroundings great views extremely comfortable environment

We liked everything about our stay there. Bev and Dan were friendly and hospitable hosts. They are very easy to talk to and treated us as if we had known each other for years. All the amenities were splendid!!!

There was nothing we did not like.

EVERYTHING! Bev was awesome. She instantly made us feel welcome and even invited us to join her for dinner. Everything was wonderful. The house was beautiful. We will be booking again on our next trip to Indy.

There was NOTHING that we didn't like.

Bev and Dan are fantastic hosts. They provided everything we needed to make our stay for our granddaughters wedding special and hassle free. The area was spacious with a great lake view. The location was only about 20-30 minute drive from everything in Indy.

This was a perfect stay and would highly recommend.

This property is not at all what is advertised. It is advertised as a two bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a private entrance, with the second bedroom being on the second floor. The rental space is actually a spacious, finished basement with a private entrance and no door or privacy from the rest of the house where the owners live. If you were to utilize the second bedroom and bathroom( which I had to ask the owner about after she showed us the basement and there was only one bedroom and bathroom) you would have to go upstairs through the owners home to the third floor. The bedrooms are not at all together in a private apartment. The owner had to put a mattress in the kitchen so we could sleep together on the same floor of the basement. She also told us the booking.com would not let her correct the listing because they were getting so many reservations. This may be great for people who only need one bedroom and don’t mind not having any privacy from the rest of the house where the owners reside, but not for people like us who were blindsided upon arrival after a very long day of travel, with the shocking realization that we rented a one bedroom, one bath basement and not a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment as advertised. This may even work for those who don’t mind having the rest of there group on the third floor which is only accessible by walking through the owners house. Not for us. We require more privacy than this and and take great care to read the descriptions and reviews before booking. We would have NEVER booked a one bedroom, one bathroom basement in someone’s home. We spent our time very uncomfortable do to the noise from upstairs (thuds, thunks, footsteps, voices) At one point there was drilling on the stairwell railing that lead down to the basement. Knowing the owners could simply walk down the stairs into the basement we were staying in at any time was extremely uncomfortable for us.

The host was exceptional! She really listened to our needs and went beyond and above but never intrusive! Great sense of humor! The views were great and if circumstances were different for our stay we would have definitely gotten out on the water.

There was nothing not to like. Will definitely go back if we're able.
