Withuis Hartenbos - No Load Shedding

Cozy, absolutely perfect for me as an off-season solo traveler. I enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the ocean and sitting outside on the stoep having my morning coffee while looking at the view (even if it was obstructed by the property across the street) A bonus was the short beach-walk distance from the main ATKV complex. Lovely stay!

As the guestroom is very close to the street, a lace curtain or blinds might provide a little bit of privacy when the main curtains are open. The mattress on the bed is also getting close to needing replacing, but as I'm a solo traveler, I was able to find a sweet spot.

Location perfect

the room that I stayed in had a double bed and 2 bunk beds, I was told that only children were allowed to sleep on the bunk beds, which meant that 2 of our group had to find other accommodation. I looked at the bunks and they were std bunks which could have easily accommodated 2 adults. I ended up paying for and sleeping by myself in a 4 sleeper accommodation. I was totally unimpressed by the fact that I had to pay the full amount for a 4 sleeper when I has to stay there by myself. Amanda tried to assist but she informed me that "management" had told her that the roon was for 2 adults and 2 children only! So, at the risk of repeating myself, I had to stay there alone but had to pay the full price. I am not impressed! I hired 3 rooms, for 6 males and a female, 2 of thge males had to sleep elsewhere because of the silly bunk bed rule. The accommodation was also not cheap!!

Staff extremely helpful. Decor, ie bed, bedside tables,lamps,etc very good. Good location and clean.

Property is being let down by cheap fittings and fixtures, ie tiling, shower cubicle. These will benefit from updating

Self Check-in quick and easy. On street, but safe parking. Great location and close to the beach. Small but well-equipped unit. We only stayed one night, and it was perfect for us. You get what you paid for it is value for money. The ceiling fan works very well.

The shower was a bit mouldy.
