Amazing 4 Bedrooms family home with free parking

Clean and comfy. Location is great, close to bus stop and train station.

The property was warm and large for our family of 7 Kitchen had everything you needed including washing machine and dryer good internet and smart tv Off street parking for 3 cars .

The only thing that stopped us giving a 10 out of 10 was the bed linen which was old a worn in every room and the poorest pillows I’ve ever come across but be mattress were very comfortable and lots of wardrobe and dressing tables available.

It was beautiful, clean & spacious. It was mega helpful that the house had a driveway.

The bedding could be better, the beds were small & the pillows were very uncomfortable, we had to use cushions.

The kitchen was well equipped with a large fridge. The living areas are huge, furnished tastefully with quality furniture and there is access to outdoor space. Ceiling fans in all the bedrooms were appreciated over the warm weekend. Bathrooms are modern and towels were provided.

Central location. Nice large downstairs area with lots of seating. Near Mawney Arms pub, which had friendly staff and great fish & chips (written in Romford Recorder).

House basically has had a facelift, skin only. Functionally it leaves something to be desired. -Cleaning was iffy. The floors were sticky, table and counters smeared, leftover items everywhere (random soaps and toothbrushes, shoes, like someone just moved out and left a bunch of stuff), including a joint on the mantle. Whole house was musty. At least the sheets and towels were clean. -Both bathrooms are “wet rooms” with the shower literally spraying on the toilet downstairs. Both bathrooms had the entire floor wet at the end of a shower. -The only towels provided were small bath towels. No hand towels. We confirmed this via text (that we weren’t missing something) and were told to use paper towels. -The bathroom window upstairs was locked open (couldn’t find a key). This was a security risk, as there were easy drain pipes to climb next to it. -I confirmed ahead of time that there was a dryer (yes!), but when we tried to use it, it would only run for 1 minute at a time. We discovered that it was not connected to the vent, so kept overheating. There was a line out back that we had to remove the spiders from and used on the one day it didn’t rain. -Lots of spiders inside - big ones! -Kitchen wasn’t well stocked. No bowls at all, and no dishwasher tablets. Dishwasher smelled awful. -Pillows were so flat that we had to fold in half to use. No spares to double up with. Beds were really hard. -Front bedroom windows were so thin that sound went right through like they were open. It’s on a relatively major street with busses and sirens going past often. -The air conditioning was only in the family room. Bedrooms had ceiling fans. -There is a creepy 5th bedroom (hasn’t had the facelift) on the 2nd floor (3rd for USA) built into the attic. Not really relevant to the rental, except we couldn’t even close the door from the towels thrown over it.
