La maison de Balleon (parcheggio gratuito)

The apartment is spacious - it consists of two apartments actually, one which is a studio and one which is a one bedroom apartment. There were 6 of us so it was really comfortable to have some private space, two bathrooms and two kitchenettes. There was everything we could possibly think of in the apartments - a washing machine, a dishwasher, an iron, a big table, a coffee machine, a kettle and many more. The rooms were tastefully decorated, we had got clear instructions on how to get in, and the apartments are situated in a building which is far from the busy street, yet close to a bus stop (the buses will take you to the main railway station, to the city centre and to other places as well).

The only drawback is the booking procedure. You need a confirmation from the owner, which feels as if you have to prove yourself :-). Plus, you don't pay the whole amount online - after booking you learn that you need to have some cash prepared to pay for the tourist tax. It's not a problem as such, but it should be clearly stated on the website. Otherwise, it gets a bit confusing.
