Lovely Annexe attached to the main house. Very private. Everything was clean and comfortable. Nice and spacious with an outside seating area. The location is great for visiting various places. Highly recommend it.

The property does not match the photos – the listing shows a modern, clean interior, but in reality the decor and furniture are quite dated Kitchen was not as clean as expected The “private garden” is very small and feels somewhat misleading Limited privacy: windows overlook the main house’s garden, and the annex is connected by a thin (locked) door, so noise carries through Log burner was difficult to use as the wood seemed damp and wouldn’t properly light Very weak mobile signal in the area Broadband speed was extremely slow (around 4 Mbps down / 0.5 Mbps up)

The cottage was warm and comfortable. It was beautifully decorated and well equipped. It was ideal as a base for exploring Kent. Our host was friendly, accommodating and responsive to queries. Was a lovely stay, can highly recommend.

Very cute, private, easy off road parking, warm, well equipped. You can walk into Hawkhurst via a footpath. Plenty of space to sit and there is a dinning table if you need it.

When we first arrived there were a few flies in the house, which was weird as at was December. Owner gave us some fly spray and that was sorted. We are quite tall and we found the shower was a bit cramped.

Kitchen - Has all the basic equipment needed to cook. The surfaces, microwave, hob and fridge-freezer were clean Lounge - TV has freeview and a fire stick so you can log into your streaming accounts. There is also a radio which is a nice touch. The fireplace was clean and easy to use. Bathroom - Very clean, good sized bath. Bedrooms - Comfortable beds and warm rooms. The master bedroom had a storage heater which worked well General - In driving distance of Royal Tunbridge Wells and walking distance of a local supermarket.

Welcome - The property is an annexe attached to the main house. A room of the main house overlooks the entrance and someone was in there when we arrived, though we could see straight in and they could clearly see us we weren't acknowledged which was a little uncomfortable. Privacy - A few doors (both up and downstairs) marked private appeared to link to the main house and we clearly heard when the family were in the room downstairs. Kitchen - No basic ingredients such as salt, pepper and oil. Some cups, mugs and serving dishes needed to be cleaned prior to using. Lounge - Only enough wood for 1 evening. We ended up buying some as we were staying for 2 nights. Bath - Bath plug has nothing to grip so once it was in it can't be taken out by hand. There was no shower gel in the bath just a bar of soap. Bedrooms - The twin room overlooks the main road and so is quite noisy,

Was a beautiful cottage with lovely quaint features. Wood burner stove. Nicely decorated. Extremely comfortable king size bed. Peaceful location. Beautiful views. Little garden area. Parking for two cars. Heating on so lovely and warm. Wish I was staying longer as lots to do in the surrounding area.

Would have been helpful to have included a small jug of milk for the stay as only there one night - coffee and tea bags were supplied. My fault, I should have remembered but not a real complaint. Was nice to have freshly ground coffee.
