Nice lodging near the Plaza de Toros

The location was ok, looking out onto the Bullring building and 5 mins from the metro. The bulls are kept in the pens right underneath the apartment balcony for a full week before the fights. It's a bit depressing if you're not into bullfighting, certainly wouldn't recommend it for anyone offended by the fighting.

Building work happening on the building that is not mentioned in the listing. The scaffolding is right outside the bedroom windows. Builders actually walking right past the window when you're sat in bed in the morning. The poor builders don't know where to look if you open the blinds! The banging and shouting starts at 8am every day. One of the showers doesn't work because one head is blocked with limescale and the handheld doesn't attach to the wall - one shower for 6 people was a nightmare so I'm not sure how they can advertise this as suitable for 10 people. (The apartment would be very very small for 10 people anyway) The one shower that did work also ran cold after 2 showers so most of us had cold showers every day. I asked them to fix it (whilst they were fixing the broken toilet seat) and they completely ignored it. Memory foam pillows which are very hard although 1 person in our group of 6 thought they were good. Generally renovated to a very cheap standard with broken toilets, taps that don't fit the sinks, no plug for washing up etc. Completely ruined the holiday, particularly being woken up every morning.
