The fact it was up four flights of stairs and that the hot water was not very good

The views were nice and it was central

We were disappointed with our stay, particularly given the £175 cost for one night. On arrival we found several cleanliness and maintenance issues, including a dirty oven and trays, dirty crockery, mould/rust around the bath fittings, a stained carpet, a leaking kitchen sink, and a kitchen worktop that appeared to be supported by an inflatable air wedge. We also experienced issues with the shower temperature becoming unexpectedly hot. The listing advertised beach access, but we were unable to find any such access during our stay. The biggest issue was noise. Despite the listing mentioning quiet hours, we experienced significant noise from a nearby pub and traffic outside the bedroom window until around 2am, making it very difficult to sleep. We ended up leaving the property at 7am after a very poor night's rest. The location may suit guests looking for a central base, but it did not provide the quiet seaside break we were expecting from the description.

Fantastic property, stunning views.. big comfy beds and the bonus of a bath.

Was a little noisy, but it is in town centre and we were so tired from travelling didn’t bother us. Owner had warned about noise due to it being Prom night.

The hosts were excellent to start with, place was super clean and very nice - just like home in many ways, the view was on another level

Would have been helpful had the heating been put on prior to our arrival as it was cold and due to the age of the property and the high ceilings, it took a while to heat

Great location for gourock, on the high street and a beautiful Clyde view on the balcony.

Absolutely LOVED everything about the property, the ease of checking in and the Host was exceptional. Loved the location on the main street, with easy access to beautiful shops, eateries and Sainsburys too. The apartment was warm on arrival. Exceptionally clean. Facilities were superb. Sofas very comfortable to enjoy the view over the River Clyde. At night, given the superior double glazing, we had a perfect night's sleeps. Entrance close is extremely well kept, clean and tidy.
