Large 5 Bedroom House Sleeps 10 Ideal for Contractors

Plenty of bedroom space for 10 people. Nice location. We were going into Nottingham every day for an event and house was pleasant 30 min drive along quiet country roads to get to our destination. Walking distance to Navigation Inn for dinner/drinks and offers beer garden overlooking canal when weather is dry, and walking distance to Co-op for groceries for when we ate at home. Plenty of space for parking 2-3 cars.

Not enough seating in lounge room for 10 people and dining table was a bit of a squeeze with 8 people. No clothes airer inside or washing line outside, no oven gloves provided. Both ensuite showers didn't drain properly and drain pipe from kitchen sink outside was held together with duct tape which broke on day one, so any washing up we did went straight onto the path outside.

The large bedrooms

The house was dusty and clearly hadn't been used for a while. All the cutlery and crockery needed to be washed before use. For a house that sleeps 10 there weren't enough mugs, dishwasher tablets or tea towels.

There was brilliant space for a bigger number of people with plenty of seating and a big kitchen table

The cleaning was not at the level I would have liked. I found a lot of dust behind bathroom doors, the floors needed better cleaning. My socks were very dirty from walking around on it unfortunately. Just needed a good mop I think.

Lovely house and very well equipped - a genuine home-from-home.

Instruction for oven, dishwasher etc would have been helpful. Also a few pointers to local amenities etc.
