Summer Breezes

Yamila and Carlos were the most gracious hosts I’ve ever had. They truly went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. I was traveling for business and mentioned needing an extra surface to work on, they immediately came up with a perfect solution. The unit itself was the most well-stocked Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in, full of thoughtful touches and extras. When I accidentally broke a wine glass and tried to explain, they simply said, “Don’t worry about it”, before I could explain I had bought a replacement set. That’s the kind of people they are. And the air conditioning? Incredible. Coming home to a COOL, DRY space after Florida’s hot, humid days was absolute heaven. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Yamila and Carlos clearly love and care for this space, it shows. As with any well-loved home, there’s a bit of wear on the sofa, while showing some use, it was still comfortable and supportive, even for a bigger guy like me. Just something to note. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. This will be my default place to stay when traveling to Holiday.

Great place in a nice neighborhood. Easy accessibility and very clean. Friendly staff. It could not have been better.

Close by to everything. In a quiet neighborhood, friendly people, nice walking area.

The only complaint is no washer and dryer.

The suite was exactly as advertised, matching the photo. It was very quiet and felt private. The hosts left very nice extra touches like snacks and drinks. Bed was super comfy and climate control was perfect with an AC/heat pump you can control. We only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer and make more use of the kitchenette facilities.

I didn't realize from the photos that there are no windows, so there is no natural light and it is very dark in the morning. Be sure to set an alarm! Otherwise, not an issue as hopefully you are out enjoying the outdoors for your natural light and there is a small seating area just outside the entrance door.

Property was just as described. The parking spot was easy to identify and the property was easy to access. It really did feel like there was some sense of privacy because of the little porch area behind the gate. It was just under 15 minutes to Tarpon Springs so it was as perfect for us. Lots of places to eat nearby. Several amenities were included. We took advantage of the beach chairs which was super helpful. There were also beach towels, throw blankets, and water/soda in the fridge. It’s a small space but we had everything we needed and more so we were very comfortable. I like having the separate sitting area from the bedroom.

The unit was small, but well laid out and provided everything needed for short to intermediate term stays. There are no windows at all in the entire unit, but I like it dark and silent as I am a very light sleeper, and this unit felt like a cocoon. It was great! Also, the owners, Yamila & Carlos, are wonderful and always available should any issues arise. I had a couple of minor issues at the beginning of the stay, and the hosts were always there with a smile to help out.

There is a small and sneaky step up to the bathroom area that is not easy to see, so I nailed my left big toe a number of times. I laid a hand towel across the step to remind me of its presence and evil intentions. I still ended up nailing my big toe one more time after that. Watch out...
