All’Altana b&b apartment

We stayed for 3 nights, Natalia met us at front and help us to park the car in her yard. the apartment is so cosy like a home with everything you needed but high quality. so we cooked every morning and evening in the apartment during our stay. Enjoyed stay in the place with easy access to supermarket and bus stop to Venice ain island. Natalia is a very lovely lady with passion and love to attention of all details to 100% right to the guests.

We spent 2 night in this apartment, to visit Venice. But we will be back - just to stay in the apartment. Natalia has curated a lovely apartment with amazing terraces and balconies. She is one of the loveliest people we got to know traveling all over Europe, and made sure everything was perfect for us. She met us at the agreed upon time, showed us everything in the apartment, gave us tips on where to charge our electric car, and told us about local places, and how to get to Venice the next day. During the stay, we spent most of our time on the terrace, surounded by greenery and two lovely cats. On our departure day, we wanted to ask Natalia if it's okay to leave the car in the private parking spot for an additional 10-15 minutes after checkout time, since we wanted to go to a local bakery for breakfast. Instead of that, she offered that we can leave all our stuff here, go for breakfast, use the bathrooms one last time, and leave when it fits us. All while she was preparing for the next guests. Honestly, it is hard to find a friendlier person than Natalia. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back to enjoy the company of her cats, the lovely apartment, and her hospitality. Excellent detailed communication from the very beginning. All pictures regarding the apartment are correct. 10 minutes walk to venice mestre train station, 3 minutes walk to the bus stop. The trains are every 10 minutes but you need to.walk to the end of the underground corridor and up stairs to buy the tickets, the green machines are to validate the tickets. A return for 4 adults was 12 euros. The apartment had so much more than we expected, it was home from home. We were able to make a meal one night as lidl and a large supermarket are within 5 Minute walk! or 10 if you are slow!!! The neighbour hood was relaxing and family friendly there was a small playground nearby for little children. Underneath the apartment was a small bar and shop where you can buy a venice pass for trains,buses, waterboats. Opposite was a fruit and vegetable shop and a few minutes walk was a bakery. The owners of this apartment are literally the best people we have met using booking. Brilliant communication, nothing was too much trouble, and we received a lovely gift of little cakes on our arrival. We also received helpful links to navigating venice, which we would not have known about. The apartment has everything you need to self cater and there was welcome tea, coffee and chilled water. The beds were so comfortable we decided not to get up early to go into venice but chill for a while. You have access to a patio area at the back of the property, which is full of plants and flowers, very relaxing. We didn't do this because the weather was a bit cold and we arrived home later in the night from sightseeing. We cannot find any fault with this apartment. I would recommend it and stay here if I return to venice. As a family of 4 with two teenage boys they enjoyed every minute and we couldn't get them out of bed either!!

After 10 years of booking places in Europe this is definitely number 1. We mostly travel by car, this is our thing, and when we book a place we have a certain algorithm that we work on, whole apartment, not central but easily accessible from interest points, terrace for fresh air, parking close by or on the site and some other small stuff. This place has everything you could possibly imagine, private parking in the yard that is safe and easily accessible, always available host and the best host ever! Above everything, the cleanliness of this place is above and beyond, our own home that we see as a clean and beautiful place doesn't come close to what we have seen here. Each room has a private bathroom so if you travel as a family or 2 couples this is the perfect home away from home. As for the location, if you travel by car to Venice, it is a perfect place. Take the train towards Venice in the morning after you have a coffee and the best ever pastry from the local pastry caffe Pasticceria Vanin, 1 minute from the apartment, you can even go in your pijama there and there will be no problem, very friendly. We had complementary pastry, Prosecco and water from our host on arrival and this has hooked us on that place because when we left we bought almost 1 kg of pastry from Vanin! THE BEST IN THE WORLD! If you had a long day In Venice like we had, walking a lot and visiting museums you are definitely hungry after getting back home so for something good and fast there is the ,,Îl Pizaiollo Magico,, across the street that is opened from 18 to 21 in the evening and make a great pizza in a wood heated oven. Anyway, I don't think I have ever written such a long review for a place on booking ever, i surely missed many positive things, but with an opened heart I do say: BRAVO! We will definitely definitely definitely come back to you because you make us feel like family! Thank you!

The communication was amazing. The host was very friendly and very accommodating even when we had major delays with our airline. Most impressive was the thoughtfulness of the house. There were more than enough cups, plates, utensils, bottle openers, lotions, shampoos, etc. Everything we needed or thought of was already taken care of. Even when I asked for an extra fan, the host had one in the room waiting for me. The location was amazing. A 5-10 min walk gets you to a bus or train station that takes you all over Venice. With tons of restaurants, grocery stores, and shops in a pretty little neighborhood, there’s no need for a car unless you’re traveling outside of Venice.

The only complaint (and this is stretching) was the comfort of the master bed, at least on my side. It was creaky and loud whenever I shifted or got up to use the restroom. It wasn’t particularly soft in my opinion. The bathroom door could use some WD-40. These are very minor issues and did not affect my rating at all.

Very friendly staff and an exceptionally nice terrace.
