The Banana’s Kumbe Villa

I'm writing this review after spending 8 weeks here. I came first just for a few days and I loved it so much that I decided to keep it for the rest of my stay in Bali. There are only 3 villas, which makes it a very peaceful accommodation, perfect for couples or individuals who are seeking place and retreat. I was working online and I loved that I could just work in peaceful quietness from the breakfast area, overlooking the swimming pool, the rice terraces and the jungle in the background. The villas are exactly as shown in the pictures, well equipped with AC, small fridge, wooden furniture and very cozy. My mattress was extremely comfortable and I loved the rustic touch in the bathrooms. They put a lot of attention in every detail and built a beautiful and comfortable place. It's one of the best accommodations I've been to while in Bali. I used to go to a local gym just 10 mins by scooter, had dinner many times in Somi, just 3 mins walk; and there are mostly locals around. 30 mins drive from Ubud, not too far from the busy city life. The accommodation is run by a family: Wayan, Made and Andra; and they are super professional and very loving. They were very attentive to me checking all the time if I needed anything, they took care of every unexpected event and made sure everything worked perfectly. I felt taken care of and like part of the family. God bless them. I will definitely come back when I come back to Ubud.

De hosts staan altijd voor je klaar. Er zitten een aantal restaurants in de buurt die ook boven verwachting waren. Wat een prachtig gebied en zo rustgevend! Alles wat je nodig hebt is er te vinden.

Почему то мало кто об этом пишет, бронировали на 2 дня и каждый день просыпались не потому что мы так хотели а потому что кто-то очень громкого выезжал с соседнего номера, хозяин приветливый но и громкий в тоже время, на второй день нас разбудил газонокосильщик травы в 08:30, почему нельзя было заниматься благоустройством хотя бы после завтрака - я этого не понимаю, видно что люди отдыхают с закрытыми шторами с утра а он прямо перед виллой косит траву. Еще минус в том что если один человек просыпается то скорее всего вы разбудите второго, когда я проходил к туалету по деревянному полу который скрипит и прогибается в тоже время двигается шкаф и холодильник, ходит ходуном. Почти целый день из двух дней нашего проживания не работал интернет Слышно шум от дороги

Die Familie, welche die kleine Villa mit nur 3 Bungalows betreibt, war außerordentlich freundlich und liebenswert. Wir wurden vom Sohn der Familie trotz verkehrsbedingter Verspätung von mehr als 1h unfassbar herzlich empfangen. Wir konnten direkt an der Unterkunft einen Roller mieten (pro Tag ca. 5€) und eine von beiden Frühstücksoptionen wählen. Auch die Frühstückszeit kann man selbst wählen. Das Frühstück wird jeden Tag frisch zubereitet und im Garten neben dem Pool serviert - die Kulisse ist also traumhaft. In der Unterkunft gibt es einen Trinkwasserspender, weswegen man nicht literweise Mineralwasser im Supermarkt kaufen muss. Für den Pool, welchen man Tag und Nacht nutzen kann, bekommt man eigene Badetücher vom Hotel. Die Lage des Hotels ist herrlich ruhig und dennoch kann man vor allem mit dem Roller gut auf Entdeckungstour gehen (Reisterrassen, div. Tempel, Wasserfälle). In der Nähe gibt es fußläufig dennoch einige Restaurants oder Cafés.

Bei der abgeschiedene Lage muss man sich bewusst sein, dass es nachts durch viele Tiere und Insekten laut sein kann. Ohrstöpsel haben mir persönlich sehr gut geholfen, meinen Freund hat es nicht einmal gestört :-)

Bellissima struttura in mezzo alla natura, pulita e ben curata. Il punto di forza è sicuramente la famiglia che la gestisce, sono stati tutti gentilissimi e disponibili. Indimenticabili i loro pancakes!

Niente

Owners of the villa were very nice, breakfast was always fresh and good. Property is on a nice quiet location with beautiful rice fields surrounding it. Few good restaurants are also close by (walkable distance). You can also rent a scooter directly at the villa.
