The Banana’s Kumbe Villa

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made the environment very cozy. The rooms are exactly how described in the pics, and the bathroom looks even better in person (mind-blowing). breakfast was simple but good enough .

Everything was great, but it would be great if we could have more ways to communicate with the staff after typical hours.

A magical oasis away from the hustle of bigger places like Kuta, Ubud etc. Banyu, Mada, Andre and his family are amazing and do all they can to help and facilitate an incredible holiday. The accommodation is superb, very comfortable beds, amazing breakfast, and a pool that feels private due to small number of villas. Attention to detail is out of this world, with beautiful wood carved furnishings, traditional statues etc. A bit of a drive from the central locations, but so worth it, and lovely to come back to Banana Kumbe after the hectic chaos that is Kuta, Ubud, etc. Some lovely local eateries and an experience of the real Bali, which is what we wanted. Massive shout out to MiMi and her family for keeping us company and helping us not to miss our own fur babies. Also, big shout out to Mada for teaching her son to make the best breakfast EVER!! Miss you guys already. I would recommend these villas to anyone and thinking of coming back in May That good! We will see you guys soon Banyu!!

This was the most welcoming place we've been in Bali. This hotel is run by a family, and they were all super friendly and helpful since the beginning. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the room was beautiful, clean and spacious. The bathroom was beautiful with everything one could need. The swimming pool overlooking the rice field is amazing, and it gives a super chill and relaxed vibe. Breakfast was also great. I can't recommend this place enough! Hope to see you in Portugal! :)

Lovely family run villas. They were very welcoming and caring and made you feel at home from the moment you arrived. The villas themselves are gorgeous, and the style of the bedroom and bathroom captured the essence of Bali. You really must see for yourself! It's such a relaxing and peaceful location away from the main roads, yet very close to great low cost, local restaurants that cater to all tastes. Our experience with eating around Bali elsewhere in local restaurants, we found that the closest restaurant to the villas much better value for money and just nicer food in general. The bed was very comfortable and roomy, with bed linen, pilliws and kimonos of a 5 star standard. The pool area and pool itself were set up in a tranquil location overlooking a rice paddy. You could easily spend all day comfortably lounging and taking a dip when the mood strikes. Towels for the pool were provided and there was cold filtered water always available near pool. Every evening we were treated to the sight of fireflies dancing around the rice fields which was an unexpected delight. Breakfast was delicious each morning and served at a time of your convenience near the pool. It was prepared to your taste with freshly made juices that were very refreshing. Banyu and his family always went the extra mile each and every day to ensure we were comfortable and happy. We always felt like very welcome guests. They even helped us find nearby wildlife so we were able to see the beautiful variety of butterflies and local plants. Everybody in the area outside of the villas were all very friendly and made us feel safe and welcome as tourists. They also connected us with local tour companies to make sure we got the best possible and best priced tour experiences on the island. They shared local recipes with us so that we can continue to enjoy food on the Balinese style once home.

The place was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful rice terraces surouding the villa. So quiet you can definitely have a good rest here. Beds and bathrooms are amazing Breakfast is good and more generous than other accomadations we had.

Great quiet place. Great view of rice fields, very authentic. Delicious breakfast. Very cozy and modern villas. And very hospitable staff. The place was really clean. Bath is great, and you can fill it in with warm water without any problem.

This a family owned and run accommodation. We had an amazing time here. The host were great and very helpful with everything. You can rent a scooter for a very good price. The scooter is well maintained and it was 150cc so more powerful than more common 125cc. We rode it everywhere with 2 people without any issues. The room is very spacious, very well furnished and in a very good condition as the property was built quite recently. The bathroom was huge and had all facilities including a bathtub. The view from the swimming pool and different sides of the property was great too. On one side rice fields with natural views. Swimming pool is relatively small, but considering that there are only 3 accommodations we always found it empty so we felt like it's our private space. The breakfast was great and large compared to the average. The location was great for us. Very close to 3 best temples, various waterfalls, rice terraces and coffee plantations if you want a coffee experience. The furtherst we had to ride was 15 minutes away. You could ride to Ubud town if you want but we did not as we spent there one night. There are 3 good restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. Overall we were very satisfied with everything and we would love to stay there again If we come back to Bali. We found it very good value for money as you get A LOT for the price.

The villa exceeded all.expectations for beauty, nature and service. We had an extremely comfortable and luxurious stay that truly made us feel we were jn the "Island of the Gods" here. Highly recommended, excellent value for the cost! Very, very helpful and attentive staff. Amazing dream bathroom as well!

Our experience at the venue was exceptional from the moment we arrived, greeted warmly by our hosts Andre and Made. Throughout our five-day stay, they exhibited genuine hospitality, offering friendly assistance with tour information and even arranging a knowledgeable guide for our Mount Batur expedition and other scenic outings. Their superb communication and sincere support convinced us to extend our stay by an additional two days. The villa itself was outstanding, complemented by delicious breakfasts, a refreshing pool, and breathtaking views. Overall, our time here was nothing short of superb.
