It’s very dirty!!!

The host answered very fast and gave me good information. I could rent a scooter und was brought with it to the bus terminal after check-out.

I was looking for accomodation with air condition. I did not see on booking.com that the room for two has only fan, but only the bigger rooms have air con. My fault, that I read it wrong.

Willcy and her husband who looked after us during our stay were phenomenal. They organised everything for us, from whale shark sightings (we saw loads!) to the firefly tour, to diving! They didn't expect any tips or compensation, but were happy to do it. The room was lovely and clean and the kitchen was a great touch.

Plans when and where to meet the hosts on arrival could have been clearer. While the location of the guesthouse is in town it is still fairly far away from Donsol Bay, where you leave for the whale shark tours and diving.

The staff replied in a timely manner to messages.

My friend and I arrived after a very long journey hoping to arrive to an air conditioned and well located place. We arrived to a gate which had very poor security / locks, and the room itself had a tiny lock which could so easily be broken into. It was located down a very long alleyway amend it felt generally very unsafe to leave our belongings there when we had laptops and other valuables. The listing on Booking.Com didn’t make it obvious that there wasn’t aid conditioning… only when I looked again did I see it under ‘miscellaneous’. The shower was located in a shack-like building and it didn’t look sanitary. The room itself was OK but didn’t make up for the rest of the issues in this accommodation. I really have never, in my years of traveling around Asia leave a property because of the quality. We left within 30 minutes and moved to Elysia’s Beach Resort which was an extra £30 for the both of us for our stay. Spend the money, it’s worth it! What’s more insane is, we bumped into a tourist also staying at Elysia’s Beach Resort who also said she had left Yana’s Place early because she was not comfortable there. We both read a book at the accommodation which had all these raving reviews and we could not believe them, as that was not our experience at all. I am sorry to have to write this, but I also did not get offered any compensation. A wasted spend overall.

clean, nice location, kitchen and fridge are convenient

ac is not very strong. no hot showering water. even if you book the room with toilet, you still need to use the only public shower, with is a little too simple

I like the ambiance in the garden, comfortable bed as well, the kitchen to cook your food and a free drinking water is so much helpful. Town proper is also walking distance to get everything. The owner is kind and always making me feel at home.
