Apartment 2, Aberystwyth Town Centre

Great facilities, great location.

Got to be honest the first sight of that stairway and I thought, “oh no, what have we done”. However, once the door was opened it was a lovely set up.

Location is ideal, in terms of being near to local amenities, bars, restaurants, seafront.

When entering the building the hallway doesn't do the apartment justice so we were a little concerned about what we would find. The pubs and road is exceptionally noisy. I hadn't clocked that when booking the apartment. We were given ear plugs.

The location of this place is unparalleled! Last year we stayed by the pear but I actually prefer this one. It just makes it so easy and hassle-free when bus and train stations are right across the street. You arrive and you're there at home and leave and just need to cross the street. Of course all the shops, cafes, restaurants, all around here. The house is really lovely too. You can see that the host thought of a lot of small details and tried to make the stay so comfortable. I was surprised to see so many needed little things that will be missing in most rentals, here were readily available, be it cooking oil, tea, coffee, paper towels, etc. Plus, many extra things you would just not expect like small bottle of milk in the fridge for your coffee or tea 😮 Some Welsh cookies (forgot the name) at the arrival were so nice to give us a little energy boost after a long and hungry travel. I've stayed in countless short-term rentals and I very rarely feel at home. Most places are confusing to operate and lacking in things. Here I was surprised every day how at home I felt. Oh and WiFi was top notch. It was super fast and had no connectivity issues. I wish I had such a good internet at home.

Very spacious, comfortable living room. Great bedroom with a good comfortable double bed. Good size TVs in both rooms, with all the streaming platforms available to sign into! Well equipped kitchen, with clear instructions for the oven etc., and Welsh tea cakes for consumption. I was impressed!

The only disadvantage is that it's on a busy street near Wetherspoons, so it was quite noisy late evening and early morning. But I knew that from previous reviews, so brought earplugs which did the trick! And 2 sets of earplugs were also provided in the bedside cabinets - very useful if I hadn't brought my own.

The apartment was light and spacious and very well equipped with lovely touches such as Welsh cakes, tea, coffee and milk on arrival. The location is ideally placed in town and we had no problem parking nearby. Communication from the hosts was good.

The apartment was stylish and clean with a lovely shower room, lounge, kitchen and bedroom. The apartment was near the train and bus station which is what we wanted to travel around Wales.

It needed baking trays, instructions to use the hob cooker, baking foil, and more things to help us cook. It would have been good to have had a microwave as we found the hob a bit too difficult to use.
