"Needs a better agent."

Location. The Breakfast room. The state of decoration

There was no blue bin for general recycling. I had to go through the green recycling bin to pick out the rubbish. The agent gave us the brush off. I didn't think it was my job to take this up wit the council. The cafetière was broken. A new one was promised on day 2 but none arrived. The covers on the outdoor table needed scrubbing which I did myself. The bbq was unusably rusted.

"Nice property. Very poor experience with Sykes"

The property itself is nice and very well situated. Equipment levels are good and there are some thoughtful touches. Some refreshment is needed to the hall area as this lets down what is otherwise a well decorated property

We arrived to find that the property had not been serviced, which created a very poor first impression. Trying to remedy this through Best in Suffolk / Sykes involved talking to a call centre in Kosovo. Cleaners eventually arrived (and did a good job) but this meant that we could not access the property until 7pm. This ruined the first day of our holiday and left a bad taste for the rest of it. No explanation or apology has been provided by Sykes

Super location just off the high street. Good size rooms with well equipped kitchen. Aldeburgh is a beautiful, unspoiled town and far enough of the beaten path to remain that way. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful.

No parking - pull up on path of main road and unload bags and wheel them up alley to the property. It wasn't clear that access is only from the side and that the front door is permanently shut.

"Perfect I would highly recommend."

The house was a perfect location in the centre of Aldeburgh, was very comfortable and the hosts had left essentials for our use like coffee and sauces, they had also left a bottle of wine and biscuits it felt very welcoming.

"A lovely house with a perfect location!"

We loved the location quiet but close to the beach and the layout of the house for a family stay. We Would love to come back as an annual visit And actually if the owners ever consider selling we Would seriously love to know!

There is currently working on on the next door house and there is significant scaffolding in place and builders working on the next door property.
