Apartamento Salema mar, relax y atardecer al norte de Gran Canaria

La ubicación es estupenda, un poco aislado, pero nos gustó. La cama de matrimonio es cómoda.

En las fotos hay una mampara en la ducha y en realidad hay una cortina incómoda y demasiado grande para el espacio. En la descripción se indica que hay sombrilla y no había. Tuvimos que comprar una pequeña y dejarla allí, no cabía en la maleta. El menaje de cocina precario (salvo la vajilla). En general, limpieza mejorable: había pelos alededor del lavabo al llegar, el congelador estaba sucio y la nevera también necesitaba un repaso. La campana no paró de gotear grasa hasta el último día. Se lo comentamos todo al dueño, que siempre fue muy amable, pero solo pudo solucionar el cambiarnos las sábanas, que estaban amarillas y con manchas... Todo esto empaña la estancia y, desde luego, no merece el pagar casi 100 euros por día, en mi opinión.

It was a beautiful apartment and a beautiful view. The location was wonderful as we do not like the busy, crowded areas and here it was wonderfully quiet. The sounds of the ocean was so soothing. With a car, we drove everywhere and there was always parking available at the apartment. The internet was fantastic, works great and we had no issues. For shopping - go to HiperDino Gáldar!! Has everything you need plus more. My kids loved it.

We liked everything, we have no complaints except google maps!! Please be careful, google maps does not give you the correct way out of the apartment back to other areas such as Las Palmas. At the roundabout, do NOT take the third (?) exit like google maps says, simply ignore google maps and take the exit marked Galdar (first one on roundabout) and drive for about 2 minutes (it's a one way road, you can't go wrong) and then google maps realises you are on a road. I think it is important to realise that this is a rural area and that a car is definitely a requirement. The cove for swimming is fantastic on a calm day - and you can see an amazing amount of fish if you bring some snorkeling goodies!

This apartment has the best view of sea and rocks ever! There is a wide private balcony and big table so you can eat and watch the amazing sunset listening to the waves crash. The block is well kept and it was quiet when we were there. The host sent a video of how to find the apartment and get in, which was easy to follow. It is very well equipped, and a nice touch was beach towels and suncream ready in a basket. Though if the sea is at all rough it would be risky to swim in the rock pools. If you want to cook remember to bring food with you - restaurants and shops are in the nearest town, too far to walk easily, but the seclusion is part of the attraction.

The location was great for exploring the North and close to a wonderful beach (sardina del norte), and Galdar for some dinner options. Lots of parking The whole complex was very clean and peaceful. The apartment itself was just wonderful. The bedding was some of the softest I've ever slept in and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Lots of wardrobe space to unpack and make it feel like home for the week. Lovely homely touches such as the lamps (which I loved!) And a duvet and full length mirror. The bathroom was nice and a full size washing machine which worked great. The living area and kitchen were great. Comfy sofa and I could login to my netflix to watch TV. The kitchen was very well equipped and I couldn't want for anything else. Balcony was wonderful and comfortable furniture. Fans in both bedroom and lounge which were welcome in the heatwave. The host was wonderful and helpful.

I really can't fault the apartment at all. The currents were too strong to swim in the sea pools beneath the complex but that isn't the apartments fault and it wouldn't put me off booking as beach is just a very short drive away.
