Our stay was very good overall. The rooms were clean, comfortable and of a good quality. There was also a very good taxi recommendation for getting to Colonella! :-)

The coffee machine was a bit unpredictable and worked at times. At the beginning, it would have been helpful if we had the host come to meet us as there were numerous codes for the door, lock boxes etc.

Apartment layout and contents comfortable, but ruined by noxious fumes and lack of breakfast.

An unpleasant stay. Though the apt was fine generally, it STANK of a toxic, plug in air freshener which had filled the bedroom with an overpowering chemical odour. I have sensitivities and asthma. Though I told the lodging manager/owner about the smell, he just said "better a sweet smell than bad smells"! Really?? Cleanliness and FRESH AIR is all that is needed. I unplugged the sickening, so called air freshener, and opened the windows. Hours later, room still stank. I had to go to bed with the overpowering smell. Slept badly. Woke with a headache. Toxic air is UNACCEPTABLE. It is 2024. Even the Italian gov't has acknowledged that so-called room "deodorants", particularly the plug in kind, have a dozen toxic compounds, benzene, etc, and release them into the air. The presence of noxious compounds in room "deodorants" has been confirmed many times, and reported in both North America, and the EU. Once can confirm with Consumer Reports, AltroConsumo or other reputable sources. People may have asthma. Others may have sensitivities. None wants the chemical exposure. The lodgings advertised as a B&B. There was NO BREAKFAST! Nothing. I happened to have my own food. Since there was a common kitchen, I thought I could make my own hot breakfast. But no. Induction cooktop did NOT work. My espresso pot is designed for an induction cooktop. Did not function on the cooktop. So, no breakfast provided, and I could not even make my own coffee. Given the lack of sleep, and the lack of the advertised breakfast I rate this lodging accordingly. I had to wake with a headache due to noxious fumes, and had no breakfast, despite breakfast being "included". If ARIA di SALE would stick to cleanliness, w/o using offensive room "deodorants, as well as providing the advertised breakfast (juice, coffee and a fresh croissant or brioche would suffice), I'd rate this lodging far better.

Fantastic beautiful clean room with great shared kitchen and coupon for coffee and pastry at restaurant short walk to beach very secure. Accomodated our bikes/great for bike travellers.

Need an active phone to check in. Only a problem for noneuropean travellers. Probsbly could have arranged a way before.

Nice new apartment. Nice room. Shared living room and kitchen!
