Whether you are passing through, visiting the area, or part of our cherished local community, our doors are now open for you to stay with us. Located conveniently just off the A40 between Carmarthen & St Clears, you will find us in the village of Bancyfelin, known for its rugby connections. We have a large car park, with electric car charging facilities due in early 2024. Renovated in summer 2023, each room has 40inch flat-screen TV, hair dryer, tea & coffee making facilities & free wi-fi. All rooms are en-suite. Full Welsh breakfast is included in the room rate and is served daily between the hours of 7.30am & 9am. The bar & restaurant areas serve a variety of dishes including pub favorites, Sunday roasts & a good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Check in is available from 5pm until 10pm daily. Check out is at 10am daily.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. Managed by a private host A deposit may be required at the property.

"Could be better"

Staff were very professional and friendly. Rooms nicely presented with great TV and plentiful assortment of teas/coffee etc. Beds very comfortable and showers very good. Very pleasant breakfast.

Noise sound proofing poor; doors slamming all the time, constant drone of kitchen extractors until late hours. Only fully quiet between 2300 and 0510. Bathroom room 3: terrible smell of drains. Bathroom room 4: toilet that was almost impossible to operate the flush.

We liked this pub because it was family run and everyone was very friendly and looked after us. The location was ideal and both the breakfast and our dinners were good.

Apart from small mess up around the booking (they didn't have me on their system), all great. Room was comfortable. Staff excellent and food was great!!! For my job, the location was also perfect (which is why i booked it).

Soundproofing between rooms wasn't too good.

Decent location as very accessible from the A48/tail end of M4. Good size car park which was good for me with a large van. Check in was very easy and accommodating as I turned up reasonable late at 9pm. Rooms seem recently re-done which is nice. Room appeared very clean with only one small stain on the bedroom throw which wasn't a big deal. Decent sized room and bathroom very big. Included tea/coffee/water in the room which is good. Breakfast was brilliant in the morning and very tasty. Would definitely stay here again if nearby.
