Very cozy

Small proper cooker would off been better

The cottage was lovely and clean, with everything you need to be self sufficient. The bed was super comfortable. Lots of places nearby to eat out.

Parking is limited. (Easy enough to register in the pub for free parking though). Could be difficult to get a space in summer season.

A lovely little cottage with all facilities. Close to the small but beautiful town of Lostwithiel, with lots of independent shops, restaurants and cafes. I felt very much at home here

The Ivy cottage was better than a home away from home. Facilities and location were spot on. The Ivy Cottage was beautiful and spotless clean. We loved our time there and will be recommending it to all our friends. Carol and Glen from Australia 🇦🇺

Ivy cottage is fab. There’s nothing I didn’t like here; great little house, kitchen with everything you need, garden to sit in, big en suite bathroom, cotton sheets and , OH MY GOODNESS a 6ft, very comfy bed. I would definitely return.

There’s nothing I didn’t like but might I suggest either a tumble dryer (I know there’s not much space) or changing the washing machine for a washer/dryer it would really help for wet days when you can’t hang out the washing.

The cottage was in a fabulous location. Lovely village with plenty of places to get good food . The fish and chip was wonderful! Situated in a great spot for visiting the whole area . The lady who cleans the cottage and works in the pub across the road looked after us so well . She couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. We will definitely be back !!

The only thing I didn’t like was there was no cooker just a hob. They had a microwave oven but it’s not the same.

The cottage was delightful and perfect for the two of us. There was a trunk full of tourist leaflets to help plan an exciting day out. The cottage is located in a good position for exploring the whole of Cornwall as Lostwithiel is on the main A390 so both Plymouth or Truro can be reached easily. The parking was the only thing that let the cottage down. There is a good arrangement with the pub opposite but if that car park is full you have to find parking away from the property. We ended up parking in the community center car park, which was free and only a two minute walk away across the A390. As a welcome gift there is a cream tea on offer at the pub, unfortunately we were unable to take advantage of this as we were out exploring all day. I believe you can have this to take away.
