Great accommodation in Matmata and very attentive and kind host. Perfect stop to see the Berber troglodyte houses around. I highly recommend this guesthouse!

Pleasant stay in the middle of the Matmata stretch. Decent sized bed and a good breakfast.

The host was exceedingly charming and welcoming. I appreciated his kindly giving us a tour of the property. We were lucky that there was no one else staying so we had far more space than we would have had otherwise with exclusive use of the sitting room, kitchen, dining room, and terrace overlooking all of Matmata. The breakfast was enough for 6 with a wide selection of juices, fruit, a fresh baguette, butter and jams, cheeses, and coffee and warm milk in carafes! The Internet connection was very fast - hooray! We were able to check in extremely easily which was a relief for my husband. The price was extraordinarily reasonable if not dirt cheap coming from the United States!

The ONLY thing I had a problem with and it was substantial for me was the inadequate lighting in the sitting area where I was working on the couch using the computer. There was a ceiling light fixture but only 2 light bulbs instead of the 8. It was probably a cost savings measure but it meant having to go back and forth between the sitting area where I could plug in the computer and the kitchen where there was more light but no plug!

Beautiful and quiet location with a short walk into the center of town. Owner is kind and friendly. Full kitchen available for use.

Perfect location, quiet and good rest. The hostess is a very kind and polite person. She made us feel good when she received us. Very welcoming and peaceful. The room has everything you need. Air and WiFi. Breakfast is also nice. Thanks for everything! Recommended.

Very clean and comfortable room (the shared bathrooms were also very clean). Terrace with a view. The hosts are really nice and provide breakfast each morning. We appreciated being able to use the kitchen and refrigerator. Parking right in front of the house. Peaceful location...any easy walk to the small town center for restaurants/cafes/shops. WIFI worked well.
