Cozy Studio in Espoo - Free Garage Parking

This suited our needs for a place to get some sleep after returning from abroad, before one of us driving north and the other flying out again... It is a simple, clean, typical Finnish flat. The location is not anything to write home about, but you probably know that already if you are looking for a place to stay in Espoo. In our case, it worked fine for what we needed.

One of our requirements when finding a place was parking, and this was a major challenge here. Perhaps at a different time of day it would have been easier, but when we arrived there was no parking available anywhere close to the property. I would suggest that the owners consider renting a parking place in the building's garage if they intend to advertise that their property has parking. Perhaps this would not have bothered us so much under normal circumstances, but when it was late and we were tired, and just got off a long flight that was delayed and just looking to get a few hours of sleep before getting moving again, those extra inconveniences were not welcome.

Host was so nice, he even drove us to the Airport (for 10€). We had snacks to choose from (for a ok price). The location was good, only about 30 minutes from the center of Helsinki with the bus

Bed was uncomfortable, the water from the shower was going everywhere. It wasn’t very clean, the carpet was dirty and the bathroom too. It was cold but the extra blanket was dirty so we couldn’t take it.

Modern and spacious. Kitchen fully equipped. Near the Bus stop(2mins walk).

It looked clean because it was new but it wasn’t. There were dust everywhere we had to wipe them off because i have asthma. The Bed was super uncomfortable and small. The room lacks a good sized Sofa. There was an opened coffee sachet left together with the complimentary coffee at the kitchen which shows the room is not thoroughly checked after guests check out. There were empty shampoo and body wash bottles in the shower. The towels were thin and hard on the skin. The heaters dont function well (winter time) and the blankets were thin there were no duvets. No floor towels available. And GUESTS MUST CLEAN the apartment as rules before leaving. Not good. I am an airbnb owner as well and i find it sad to be leaving this kind of comments.

Host was very friendly, professional and respectful. Responded to my queries promptly. Provided help and instruction to reach the location. Easy check-in process. Great Location. Easy access to public transport. Everything needed for a short stay was available at the apartment, including some oil and salt for cooking, cleaning materials and even an oscillating fan to ease the warm weather. It was really a cozy home like stay experience. I would certainly book it again.

Unstable WiFi connection. If you are traveling for work, it's better to arrange a sim card with internet access. I wish there were more floor cleaning wipes.

Good location close to a shopping centre with buses, light rail and trains all within walking distance. Newly built building with all the appliances brand new, simple but cosy decoration. The host was flexible with the check in time and it was excellent value for money.

Nothing comes to mind, we liked everything.

The place is really nice. Clean and new, quite close to Alberga station. The host is very responsive. I have no problems with communications and key pick up. The check-out time is also good (12 AM), you do not need to run away by early time. I wish the host all the best!

Peter was an amazing host! He suggested to pick me up on my way to Helsinki (I was arriving on a bus that apparently had a stop nearby, from where he could drive me by car) and allowed for early check-in. The apartment exceeded my expectations - it's much bigger than on the photos, and everything was provided. The neighbourhood was quiet, and the communication to city center is convenient, with a train station nearby. A short walk or bus ride takes you to huge mall. And all that for such a steal of a price!

It's a nice studio close to a train station. The owner is a super friendly person, we arrived in the middle of the night and it was not a problem to give us a key. Highly recommend.
