Sunhill Luxury Residence - Castle district - FREE PARKING

A modern, well set out studio with comfortable dining chairs and cute little balcony with Zen garden. The combi microwave, washer dryer and fridge were good quality. Very quiet. The location is really good. You walk down 2 sets of stairs and you're in the castle precinct. You can be over the river via a bridge in 25 minutes or under 10 mins via bus or tram. A secure spot for the car. A huge bed with good pillows and cotton bedding. Gabor was very welcoming. Left a Tokaji and 3 chocs as a welcome gift. A big TV which was moveable.

The cleanliness of the carpets needs attention. We take our shoes off and bring slippers everywhere. When your white socks turn black, you know the floor is dirty. No vacuum. The surfaces in the bathroom, the bed lamps, and the towel radiator had a layer of dust, which I cleaned, before placing items down. Crumbs in the microwave and under the toaster in the cupboard. There wasn't enough crockery and cutlery to fill the dishwasher. Kitchen lacking things such as a colander or sieve, cloth to wipe up, a tea towel, etc. The air con system is not a single machine. It is one of those systems where you set the temperature, and the pipes cool the place down. Since it wasn't that hot, we opened a window. The water temperature varied between warm and hot, when showering, but mainly warm. Towels are thin and need replacing. The lights remained on all night outside, and the curtains were too thin to block out the light.

Nothing. It was a terrible experience. The owner kicked us out after 1 night (we paid for 11 nights in advance) while my wife was sick because we complained about the apartment and the service. He said he'll give us our money back, but that was just another lie.

Terrible location (everything is uphill. You'll be hiking up a steep street every day) Even worse service.

Very clean, well equipped, nice terrace. Supportive host. Garage in basement. Quiet neighborhood. Location is more than convenient.

No live tv. However, there is access to the internet on the TV set.

I loved everything about this flat, I didn't hear any noise, it was very quiet and very peaceful. I really loved staying there and when I return to Budapest I intend to stay in the same flat.
