Nice. Great welcome, fantastic breakfast, great conversations, and it's important to keep Mom's house! Wishing your family prosperity and health. A perfect option near Stonetown on the way to the spice farms and Nungwi! We didn't make a mistake and didn't overpay for a similar level of comfort in Stonetown.

Moussa is a terrific host, and his family is lovely. DEFINITELY include the breakfast, and enjoy the hospitality by taking it with him, his family, and the few other world travelers- and share some culture. The food was terrific and different everyday. He is very funny, warm, and genuine. The studio is spacious, WiFi was stable. He is also AMAZING at helping you get sorted with cars and tours. Could not have found a better host/location combo.

There is almost nothing to dislike- except for the surly rooster next door lol. If you’re not an early riser- Bring earplugs, but beyond that, couldn’t have picked a better stay.

The family is extremely hospitable and friendly. Moussa is very helpful and he explained everything to me about the local infrastructure. The food is delicious. The room is comfortable and clean.

The kitchen equipment is old. The location is far away from everything. Only small shops are available nearby.

"All relaxed comfort and felt cared got more than i paid ."

While my stay was short I really loved mamas house. It was a relaxing quiet place and the locals were friendly and welcoming. The host and his family were also very welcomining and very informative. I am happy to have spent my last night in zanzibar here.

All was good with the price expectations and beyond
