B&D Lodgings

The serenity of the surroundings and the large room with all the basic ammenities- a microwave, a/c, refrigerator, hot and cold.shower, kettle, and tea-making supplies. I had an 11-hour layover and needed to sleep, and I did! Very cozy bed.. Also, the host and her son went out of their way to get me authentic Panamanian food. I don't mind visiting again if I transit through Panama.

There was a slight scent in the room, but not too much to be overbearing.

Excelente la atención de Daysi y el servicio de traslado desde y hacia el aeropuerto. Es un sitio muy útil y cómodo para descansar, hacer un stop over, para salir del aeropuerto cuando tienes una escala prolongada.

Para lo que yo necesité, descansar durante mi escala de 12 horas en Tocumen, fue genial contar con ese departamento para bañarme y dormir bien.

My hosts were very kind and generous. My accommodation was comfortable, clean, and quiet.

No concerns at all. I have been very pleased with my stay.

THe host did try to help us get a ride to get some dinner at a Mall. It was a walk-up restaurant like we see in US food courts at a mall. That was our only access to a restaurant.

The room was big with 3 beds, with one having sheets. There was an AC unit, but there was also a fan since the AC was not great. There are no restaurants close by, other than the food courts at a mall. The neighborhood was very sketchy, but there was a gate at the entrance of the place. There were only 3 rooms total, available for rent.

No breakfast offered. Rural setting.

Taxi couldn’t find it from airport…..no hotel sign. Property advertised a swimming pool and the closest one was about 9 kilometres away (public pool for pay). Property named itself B&B, which typically means bed and breakfast. There was no breakfast.

The rooms were very spacious.

When I arrived to the hotel, the doors were locked. I had to call the hotel to see where they were at. They claimed they never got confirmation from me of my stay but I booked the room 4 months in advance. I had to wait outside alone for 30 minutes until they arrived to open the door to the hotel. The pool was also dirty and felt slimy as if they don’t ever clean it. The hotel is also in an area that doesn’t have direct access to food or things to see.
