Apartment 4, Khyber Lodge Apartment Whitby

Loved everything. Spotlessly clean. View was breath taking, sat in the window with a glass of wine in the evening watching the sea. Lucky enough to see dolphins from the apartment. Bed was ridiculously comfortable. Great quality shower. We ate out, but kitchen was fully equipped if we had chose not to. Great location. I really cannot wait to return.

Absolutely nothing, aside from the fact I'm now home and not sat in that lovely window!

For the price I would struggle to fault it. Spacious, clean, comfortable, and the free biccies were delicious!!

If you have limited mobility, it may not be for you. At the top of a hill, and 2 flights of stairs. Otherwise, go for it.

Four apartments, and four key boxes next to the front door. Code for the appropriate box sent out on the day of arrival. The location was superb, far enough away from the noisy area of Whitby down by the harbour, but cloe enough that you didn't need a car. being based on the swest side of Whitby meant you were close to the beaches.

No parking adjacent to property. Disk parking only locally, so had to use a pay+display a few hundred yards away. Parking fees only applicable 9am to 6pm, but over £10 per day. Be aware, there are a lot of stairs to apartment four, and with heavy bags, they're hard work. You can't take dogs on the beaches in Whitby itself, the nearest dog-walking beach is 1km from the apartment, but it's a superb beach and worth the walk.

Very impressed with the apartment for the price. We had a lovely sea view and the flat was pretty spacious, perfect for a 2 night stay. The centre was only a 5 minute walk away, can’t fault the location. We were also provided with local recommendations which was very helpful as we had not visited Whitby before.

There’s no on site parking but the nearby leisure centre provides 24 hour parking for around £10 so it’s not a dealbreaker.
