Manata Homestead & Lodge

Location was great and facilities were everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the unit was clean and tidy.

Lovely location, very clean and spacious.

Room had beautiful big windows looking out onto the mountains - but as a shared area by other 2 units there was someone in the morning sitting within metres of those windows and able to look directly into our room. Perhaps could provide seperate areas for the other units out the front of those as was complete lack of privacy for that particular room.

Loved our stay here. The room is lovely with spectacular views of the mountain. The apartment has everything you could need including plenty of kitchen utensils and tea and coffee. The location is also great, you’re just out of main Queenstown but very close to all the shops, and to some lovely walking trails. The staff we bumped into were all lovely too, very happy to help and provide us with fresh towels etc. We were also lucky enough to be welcomed by Oscar the cat. He showed us round the room and in particular the fridge. As per the guestbook request, he may be persistent but don’t feed him. He is happy to settle on the sofa with you for a movie instead. Not a negative but just note that the pool is understandably closed in winter, it’s not overly clear when booking however. The rest of the facilities are open though.

This accommodation is near everything without the over inflated prices of Queenstown and Arrowtown. We were upgraded to the two bedroom apartment and it was fantastic. There is everything in it you would need, full kitchen including dishwasher. Underfloor heating in parts and plenty of other heating to keep you warm. The living space was very comfortable and spacious. We also loved the bed! The views from the apartment were just so beautiful. Thanks so much, we will definitely be back.

The property and surroundings are gorgeous. Free mountain bikes to use while there and plenty of tracks to ride or walk john is very welcoming and generous with his time

You would need a car to drive in and around Queenstown

Bed was so comfy, the outdoor area and location is stunning and so relaxing. Great little kitchen area not that we used it much.

TV was hard to use and couldn't get it to stream or connect. Upstairs room was noisy and not soundproofed so we were kept awake just with them walking around.
