Everything! The view, my God. Stunning. The mountains are so beautiful. The room was modern but had touches of country charm. The bed was HUGE. And so comfortable. Full-size fridge and even a little dishwasher. Underfloor heating, towel warmers, spacious master bedroom for our suitcases to sprawl out. Felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, and as proud kitty parents who were missing our 3 furbabies at home, having Oscar stay the night with us was the best. The sppaaaa! In the dark, watching the stars move under the clouds, toasty warm in the water, freezing cold outside of it, just pure bliss after a long day of riding horses. Wish we didn't have to leave! Pool towels plus normal towels, they've thought of everything. Owners are so lovely.

Felt like I’d hit the jackpot when we arrived at Manana. From the lovely neighbourhood, to the grand entranceway and driveway, to the sweet little note left at the self-check in reception, to opening our door and revealing a huuuuge tastefully decorated suite. The room had everything we needed and more: a lounge area with comfy couches, dining table, kitchenette, big bathroom, cracking view of the grounds and mountains and the most comfy bed ever. I never thought we’d find a bed comfier than our own, but the bed at Manana had me stripping off the sheets and taking a photo of the brand so I can replicate the same thing at home. We couldn’t bear to go out for dinner so grabbed some takeaway to eat in front of the tv in order to get a tad more time in the room. Handy to the airport but no noise from the planes. Lots of thoughtful extras: tissues in the room, bedside wireless phone chargers, makeup wipes, heated towel rail. I didn’t get to meet the owner, but I did meet the cuddly cat, who came knocking on the door and settled in for a night on the couch with me. Puuurrrrrfect.

We booked the Cardrona Studio for a winter escape and were blown away. Self check-in was seamless – key and welcome note waiting – and host John’s messages made us feel looked after from the start. When our hot-water cylinder cooled off after a late-night shower, John quietly boosted the temperature and it was piping hot by morning: stellar service. The suite is generous, spotless and fully equipped, but the real show-stoppers are outside: snow-capped Coronet Peak framed by the French doors, a sky so dark we could photograph the Milky Way, and tranquil grounds where the only “noise” is birdsong.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable and convenient

It was such a beautiful room. One of the most comfortable beds we've slept in! All the amenities were perfect.

The toilet in room next to bed had a broken button and didn't flush, thankfully there was another toilet in bathroom!! Also found it too warm at night as there was only french doors and no windows to open.

Loved the views and scenery around the property. Enjoyed the spa and sauna. Such a beautiful home with everything you need for a great stay. Would definitely recommend
