Villa La Sirena by Nagisa Bali

All-round wonderful stay - Great location, very convenient to walk to Seminyak beach or to nearby shops - Very comfy, beautiful and spacious interior - Good facilities throughout (e.g. racks for drying clothes, mini shower next to swimming pool, cozy living room area) - Housekeeper Agung was wonderful! She came each morning to cook delicious breakfasts for us and cleaned our rooms - Host Debby was also responsive and helped us resolve any issues we had during our stay

Minor comments - We had an issue with the water which was quickly resolved. On our first night, there was no water going to the 2nd floor rooms, but after I informed our host, Debby, she came with a maintenance guy to fix the issue even though it was late at night. We really appreciated the prompt assistance and we had no other issues with the water afterwards. - Some of the roads leading out from the villa are quite narrow, so we had to be wary of traffic coming around the tight corners.

2min walk to beach ,10mins to flea market etc .Some villas closer to town if that’s what you want but for us location was perfect

Where to start? Terrible place to stay, the horrible smells coming from the drains were very unpleasant, all of the pillows on the lounge were dirty and mouldy as per pics, the timber boards around the pool were broken and loose, our son cut his foot open on the nails stuck up. Tiles on the wall pool were broken and had fallen off. The pool towels were stained and very dirty, the TV was missing in the bottom room there was construction works happening in the other Villas and also on the building behind. We had to clean the kitchen bench down it was filthy. The plug in the kitchen sink couldn't be used as it was dodgy missing some parts to actually use it. Beds weren't comfortable, and the rooms smelt mouldy. The safe in the bottom room was very small. All the walls were dirty and paint peeling in some areas. The stair hand rail frames were very rusty and only a matter of time before they broke off. There was rubbish left in one of the bins when we first arrived. The fans in the outer lounge area only had one speed that didn't work very well. The location of the villa was ok, a bit hard to find but close to the beach. The housekeeper Agung seemed very lovely and was very welcoming. We left only after staying for a couple of hours due to the risks it posed to the children and moved to a different property. I did message the property asking for a refund, and they did offer a credit, which they didn't have to. No way would we ever stay at that villa. I don't know how this villa gets great reviews because very run down, and when they are asking for over $400 Aud a night, you would expect it to be a lot better than that, I wish I took more photos of how bad it was but we just wanted to get out of there.

Beautiful villa exactly as described they have the best management ever very responsive and kind staff and they wait for you till you wake up to make your breakfast

Was close to shops and great walking distance to the restaurants

Getting to the property was a bit tricky and the front building looks creepy

The location is amazing- 300m from the beach. Very close to shops for shopping, central location for Ubers and scooter drivers. Next to other villas so always felt very safe

Breakfast was good. Agung was a good cook and she made delicious breakfast daily.
