Relax, Refresh, Recharge

Super spacious and clean property, great location for Mount Cook. Everything was new and I loved the beds, super comfortable.

The only thing was the temperature was a bit low, even if A/C was on. I guess it was because we were there mid July and it was the coldest days in the year.

Wonderful, spacious home that was well equipped and in a great location. Bed was comfortable too! Would definitely stay again.

We had a couple of issues with the property. Firstly it wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. One of the pillow slips had a small blood stain on it which I noticed immediately upon checking out the master bedroom, and then the kitchen sink still had small bits of food in it. There was just a couple of other small areas I felt could have been cleaner. The other issue was that I found the ducted heating still never made the house go above 20° - even once we changed it all the way to 26°! We followed the instructions to of course leave it on all the time, but even with the adjustment in temperature the house still wasn’t comfortably warm. We found ourselves cold when utilising the lounge. Finally, the internet wasn’t that great. We had a couple of rainy nights which meant Netflix was the plan. We mainly watched it without a hitch but we did have several times where the internet wasn’t working and couldn’t stream shows for a few minutes at a time. Overall a great stay but these few things did impact our stay and score.

The house was very spacious with a large kitchen. The ducted heating was amazing, and the floor to ceilimg windows in the living/dining were just like home.

It didn't seem to be easy to communicate with the Stay MacKenzie staff, and the faulty electric blanket, reported on our first day, was not replaced during our stay despite us contacting them. The cold shower on the last morning (ran out of gas?) was not pleasant. More instruction booklets e.g. for the oven, would have been helpful.

The house was even nicer than we expected! Clean, spacious, modern. Nicely decorated bedrooms, comfy beds. Nice open kitchen. Kids loved the trampoline and bunk beds! Location was perfect to explore Mt Cook & Lake Tekapo.

The holiday house is very clean and tidy. Property management was easy to be reached, had a problem in connecting to WiFi, and it was solved very quickly by the team.
