Cardiff city apartment 2

Great location. Was a home from home.

This appartment is in a fantastic location and the views are exceptional. It's really spacious for 4 adults, with the parking space and the two bathrooms such a bonus. We have used this appartment twice now and have recommended it to our friends and colleagues who work at The Open University, which is just a few steps away too. Lovely touches with towels, toiletries, milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, cereal etc.

There is only a small 2 seater sofa, although we didn't spend much time in the evenings sitting watching TV it would have been nice to have another sofa for when we had a drink before going out.

Used the appartment for our daughters graduation, and spent 2 nights in Cardiff. It's in a fantastic location and we have stayed here before. The parking is such a huge bonus and the views into town and the Bay are exceptional.

Another sofa would be beneficial.

Location and cleanliness

Wasn’t clear where to go but sorted out in the end

Right in the city centre, great access to ALL of the shops. Tesco Express across the road, it was so easy to grab some ingredients to whip up a quick stir-fry for dinner. All of the basic condiments were available in the kitchen, along with pots/pans, etc. We were able to have a quick breaky and get out and about. 2 bathrooms was great for family travellers. 😍 Loved having a washing machine to do the daily chores while on holidays. 🤪 Loved the fact that we had pedestal fans in our rooms. Nice view of the bay from the bedroom windows, and we were fortunate enough to catch a sunset one afternoon (when it wasn't overcast) 🤣

The beds were not the most comfortable, and also on the small side. For any Australians travelling - they are double beds, not queen beds. The towels were a little thin. The second shower doesn't allow for the user to have a free standing shower, but does have a bath!

We stayed in the Apartment whilst visiting Cardiff to see Avril Lavigne at Cardiff Castle! THE APARTMENT: was very spacious and immaculately clean, it had everything we could possibly need. Even included little touches like tea, coffee and toiletries. THE BEDROOMS: BEDS..... Oh My gosh.... it was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud. We had the best nights sleep. There was no air con but the host had thought about this and included fans to keep the room cool. There was lots of storage and wardrobes in both bedrooms. THE BATHROOMS: again immaculately clean, towels and toiletries were provided. As we were staying as a group of friends it was helpful to have a big bathroom and an en-suite with shower. There was also a separate bathroom with full both and shower head attachment. Plenty of heated towel rails too. LIVING AREA: had a TV with options to put on our netflix, prime accounts etc for our stay and free WiFi. Dining table big enough for 4. Only one sofa though but it was perfectly comfortable. THE HOSTS: sent everything we could need in enough time, including very clear instructions of entry to the car park and building and all the codes we would need. They even included images so we knew what we were looking for. AMENITIES: The building we easy to find and was a 2 minute walk so a huge shopping outlet. Tesco you could see from the entrance. It was only a few minutes drive to the Waterfront and Theatres and a short walk to Cardiff Castle etc. All in all, a fantastic comfortable stay. We would recommend this apartment and would definitely come stay here again on another trip to Cardiff!!

* The room initially was difficult to find due to petal shaped building. But that's just being picky on our part. * We did feel another sofa or even a small armchair could have been beneficial. We did find that one person ended up sitting on a dining room chair with a group of us staying and being social. An armchair in the window area would be a fantastic extra to overlook the views of the city and read of an evening when winding down. THESE ARE TINY THINGS AND WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY AND WE'D BE BACK.

Very pleasantly surprised! View, and location were amazing. Plenty of items like milk, tea, coffee, sugar, cornflakes, shower gel, and others made a very comfortable stay! Parking as easy and straightforward. Communication with the owner was professional and faultless!

Nothing negative to mention! All was well, above expectations! Some ideas for perfection would be to add another comfy chair in the living room, the sofa was a bit tight for four! Also, a TV in the bedrooms would be nice? But this would definitely not deter me from booking again!
