Cosy 1 Bed Cottage Scarborough

We booked to stay from Friday to Sunday as we were going to see a couple of shows. When we arrived I think we briefly met one of the owners, he gave us a warm greeting, he seems like a lovely guy. I think his personality is reflected in the atmosphere of the property, which feels warm and welcoming. The location of the property was ideal for our planned activities and also for shops, beach etc. One performance was at The Spa and the other was at the Stephen Joseph Theatre both were approximately a 30 minute walk away. On both days prior to going we ate at the Scarborough arms which is just around the corner from the Cosy Cottage. There are other places to eat fairly close by it was just more convenient for us to go to the pub. My Husband and myself enjoyed our stay at this lovely property, it has a homely relaxing feel about it and the area is so quiet. It was great to be able to make a drink when we first arrived with the tea, coffee etc provided by the host.

Beautiful cosy cottage. It had everything we needed. Very clean. Sofa could have been a bit bigger and the bed was a bit hard for us. Central to both north and south bay.

Lovely decorated cosy cottage, had everything for a relaxing stay and great location to the beach and castle.

The bathroom was downstairs next to the kitchen, I have to get up a couple of times in the night so that wasn’t great, could do with a toilet in the bedroom. Also only has a double bed, there is room for a king size.

Would have loved an upstairs toilet but totally understand why not due to space

The cottage was beautifully decorated with much attention to detail. Martin and Katie had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable from various books on the shelves, tea, coffee and milk in the kitchen to a folder full of local information and also user manuals for the appliances in the cottage.

I can't think of anything that could have been better.
