Hilltop Cabins (Calatagan, Batangas)

I absolutely love the place. The rooms were clean and well kept, from our bedroom to the outdoor kitchen. The swimming pool, we used almost everyday, as my daughter and I are very fond of swimming. There were so many opportunities to check out the garden, as well as the picnic/camp site next door. Hill Top Cabins is must stay for families looking to get away from the city and just enjoy nature at its best and the comfort it provides. My family and I felt safe and more than comfortable with the place. Im going to reiterate that I enjoyed checking out the garden, a lot lol, trying the local fruits that I grew up eating; which the family didn't mind at all. Speaking of the family, Haydee and Joel couldn't be more nicer and accommodating throughout. They had us for Christmas and their company made us feel as if we were at home.They even offered us transport and contacts for local rides for sightseeing and beach tours as they know this might be a slight challenge for people who are new to the area. They suggested we try out CASOBE Beach Front and we absolutely loved it, even staying there 'til night time, after which Kuya offered to pick us up. It made my whole family's day. Overall, im very pleased as I learned to navigate independently for my grocery needs as well and felt safe throughout. Everything is within distance, providing you have vehicular transport. Im very much looking to staying here coming 2026 Inshallah and seeing the wonderful family again. Absolutely worth the stay and for anybody looking for a reason to pick this place, I hope my review offers help with that decision. Thank you again Ate and Kuya, Marie, Edwin, and Tory. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the sleep quality was excellent. praising the stunning views a lot of tree’s mentioning the peacefulness of the surroundings, and noting how this made for a wonderful and relaxing overnight stay🥰thank you also for very warming and good deeds🙏🏻🥰 regards Family🥰 Thank you Mam Haidee

The owner and maid was friendly, the nature was very peaceful and tranquil

Needs better soap in the shower as it’s like a stone and impossible to use, I had to use my own soap

Lovely room. Very quiet area. Staff very helpful and the Owner very friendly and helpful. Nice pool as well.

Food service was a bit slow.

There were no free bottles in the room. Bathroom is too small. Overall, the cost I was charged was not worth it.

The final charge of the overnight stay was ridiculously higher. I did not understand. There was was no explanation whatsoever. I have to walk to a store to buy water as it was very hot. The room is not worth 7,000 pesos for 3 for 1 night.

That place is absolutely amazing! Very beautiful and quiet area, far from crowd environment. Room are extremely clean and cozy. Comfortable bed with outstanding matrace and pillows. Owner are helpful, intelligent people, that ready to assist with any issues all time. That accommodation just a hidden jem in Fhillipines. Strictly recommended and definitely will return there.

Outstanding and amazing place! Located at country side at very quiet and peaceful location. Extremely clean and cozy rooms with a great extra facilities. The bed is absolutely comfortable and pillows are extraordinary! Owners are very helpful, intelligent and very nice people, that ready to assist with any issues anytime. The place just a hidden jem at Fhillipines. Strictly recommended and will definitely return there.
