The information from booking.com No contact number Put the postcode into the sat nav took us to completely the wrong place Took us an hour and a half wandering round knocking on doors to find it On finding it spoke to the vendor on a video doorbell she wasn’t at the location went to the apartment it had a key safe on the wall we didn’t have a code Spoke again to the vendor she sent the code but we could not get into the safe She had to come to the location to let us in

We have stayed here before & since it became new to Booking.com, always been happy. However, this visit was very different. We were advised on the morning of our stay that the property was undergoing roof repairs, that there was scaffolding up but it shouldn’t impede on our visit. Unfortunately this was not the case as we were woken in the morning by loud banging, not ideal when we had been travelling and wanted to unwind in the morning. The outside patio was completely unusable as it was covered in debris and brick dust. The worst was to come when we arrived back at the cottage late afternoon.. through the scaffolding, large shards of concrete had fallen on to the ground outside the door, this was in our opinion a very serious breach of Health & Safety when we were paying guests. Furthermore ,this time the apartment had an overwhelming smell of ‘dog’, and was not in the tip top condition that it had been on earlier visits. The gate was hanging off its hinges and difficult to navigate with a suitcase. We had already booked in another visit but sadly cancelled because of the issues and the fact that the host did not confirm as promised that the issues would be resolved. Overall a disappointing experience.

Centrally located , cosy and warm nicely furnished , small area for dog to go outside .

The macerator was very noisy every time you flushed the toilet or used the water , very uncomfortable bed and pillows so it was difficult to sleep on the night .

A beautiful romantic intimate little hideaway. Perfect location for our anniversary weekend. Beyond all expectations. Just a 20 minute stroll to Haworth Main St, with some lovely little bars up the road too. On the list of our favourite places to stay. Will definitely be booking again!

We really liked that the property was tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard and that it was also dog friendly.
