Cosy 2 Bedroom Apartment

Most disappointing was the owner didn’t inform us the code for the padlock of the gate for the parking. We arrived late and no one answered our message until we make a call to Booking.com. The condition of the apartment is also bad with peeling floor covering. Hot water in the shower was a disaster.

The apartment looks lovely, very well decorated. I liked the clear self check-in procedure. It's close to the city centre, only a short bus or tram ride. Bus and tram stops are very close. Beds and sofa were very comfortable. The shower was nice and large with good water pressure.

The apartment is unbearably hot at all times, despite the cool weather outside. This is probably due to the kebab/pizza shop downstairs. I think air conditioning should be installed because we were forced to keep the windows open all the time to combat the heat inside. To add to that, the kind of bedsheets given were more suited for winter time than July weather. We were lucky it didn't rain too much, or we would have had to close the windows and boil in our own sweat in the flat. The fans provided aren't a good substitution for air conditioning. Speaking of windows, the ones overlooking the main road are very old and a bit difficult to open/close. The flat is quite noisy, especially if you keep the windows open, because of the cars passing on the main road. It wasn't a problem for us, but if anyone was a light sleeper, it would be a problem. The flat only had one fork, and there were three of us, so eating was a bit of a struggle. The toilet in the bathroom was very small and very low, child-sized, I dare say. It was a struggle sitting down and getting up.

Overall it was a good stay

After the main entrance, the path is occupied by a big trash bin, which creates obstacles to move luggage. In hot weather, it's difficult to stay inside since there is no ceiling fan or air-conditions. The owner provides only two stand fans in two bedrooms.

Good communication. Clean. Nicely laid out.

Too hot to sleep. Fans provided but just moved the hot air around.

Apartment as described. Easy access with clear instructions and car parking close to al centre facilities.

Only draw back is constant road noise in the bedrooms. You will need ear defender

Location was great. Parking was useful and the place was clean and nicely furnished.

The property was rather warm. A fan was provided, but it was still a bit too warm. It was a warm day, so a warm property is to be expected. But air conditioning would have improved the experience.
