Platinum VIP - Northern light luxury house

Die Schlüsselübergabe war sehr unkompliziert mit Code, was wir sehr schätzen. Der Besitzer ist auch extra noch vorbeigekommen um Tipps für Ausflüge zu geben, vielen Dank dafür! Das Haus ist sehr schön, modern und gross. Alles war tip top sauber. Das Haus bietet viel zur Unterhaltung, wir waren 6 Personen (inkl. 2 Teenager und Grosseltern) und jeder hatte seinen Lieblingsplatz gefunden, Billard fanden wir super. Wir hatten Glück, dass es viel Schnee hatte und wir das Nordlicht gleich an 2 Abenden hintereinander sehen durften, vom Haus aus. In Tromsö selber gibt es eine grosse Auswahl an Restaurants, auch mit lokalen Spezialitäten. Uns hat es gefallen, dass wir etwas ausserhalb waren. Da es so sehr ruhig war und die Natur wunderschön. Wir wären sehr gerne noch viel länger geblieben.

The host was extremely friendly and helpful, and the villa was extraordinary. I forgot something in the villa and the host was very helpful and responsive in helping with my issue. I would say it's my best stay in Norway.

The villa can be considered a bit far from the city center, but it's not a big deal. It would be better if the host can mention that the jacuzzi would be an extra cost, but it's not a big deal.

Excellent location with luxury furnishings making it an enjoyable stay. Host was excellent with communication Lots to do in the villa for days we did not go out. Plenty of space for eating and relaxing in the evenings.

Car hire recommended as only but route 450 serves the area which is not regular and the cabs are pricey into the city.

The house was a great base for our group of 7 to spend a week in the Tromso area. There was plenty of space for us at the property, with room for us to spend time together and be alone when we wanted. The range of utensils and equipment in the kitchen allowed us to cook a variety of meals, both for breakfast and dinner. The house is very modern and we were warm even on the coldest days. We didn't see the owners. but they replied promptly to the queries we had and handled our requests well. The EV charging point was a big plus as we'd hired two electric cars. Location is at the end of a quiet street and around a 25-minute drive into the centre of Tromso, although we drove out for a further 5 km to get to a point in the road where there was complete darkness and we had the best chance of seeing the northern lights.

Fantastic house and location

The view was beautiful from our bedroom, I could have laid in bed all day and taken in the mountain range. The home was really warm and toasty. The decor was beautiful, simple and minimalist. The home was so very clean. It was such a peaceful home to stay in. So much space. The roads into Tromsø was really straightforward and it was so easy to get onto the island.

We didn't dislike anything. The only little comments were we accidentally tried to open a different door where someone else lived to the right of the house (within the building). We felt awful as was late at night so if in the instructions there was a note that we were to open the middle door that'd have been great. Maybe a little guide on how to use the lights, too, would be handy.
