Mountain-View Loft Cabin with Hot Tub & Fireplace

This place was exceptional!! I found this last minute and was able to book it, I have two simple minor complaints. 1. The bathtub jets, you have to push the button fast about 20-30 times to get them to work, and 2, the cabin just was a little dirty, mouse poop in the pots and pans and under the kitchen sink, and there was a very gross smelling shirt behind the bed our whole stay that we didn’t find until we were cleaning. Other than that the staff was great and responded literally immediately. I will most certainly book here again!

The cabin lives up to its name. It was cozy and had everything we were looking for. Loving all the bear and mountain decor. From a comfortable bed to a jacuzzi outside and a bath tub inside. I loved the BBQ and jacuzzi are not on the first floor so no unexpected bear surprises. Every day we received tips on what to do or recommendations on places with great food. They responded quickly to any questions we had. We were sorry we could not extend our stay but will sure keep it as an option for when we return to the peaceful smoky mountains.

The cabin itself was nice and cute.

They have had a broken coffee pot since April of 2025 and there was evidence of a rats present in the home. Not mice, rats. There were droppings in the kitchen cabinets and I found a half eaten mouse on the stair case after our first night.

came back from dinner to no running water or heat. 14 degrees outside we were freezing. could not flush the toilet, brush our teeth, or even shower. reached out to customer service only to be told they couldn’t do anything about it until the next morning, so we slept all night in the cold with temperatures under 20 degrees and could not even use the toilet. woke up to maintenance (maintenance was great no issue with them whatsoever) however we were told the water was most likely frozen and the heat had to be repaired by an hvac company so would be longer without heat with temperatures still in the 20s. called customer service back to let them know (it’s lunch time by now) that we we were still cold half of our day was taken and no way to get ready or use the bathroom. eventually got moved to a new cabin and only to be told we would have the choice of that or one nights money back not both and no compensation at all for the 12-13 hours we spent freezing with no running water. not to mention once we arrived at the new cabin the bed was not made with crumbs in it no toilet paper no towels. they sent housekeeping to fix those issues to then only be told the hot tub there needed repairs too and the maintenance was there quite a while fixing that too (again maintenance was great) but was not able to use the hot tub at all the rest of our stay because it was not heating up due to it being cold for so long with it being broken. overall, would absolutely never i mean never book with these people and ultimately ruined our stay.

It was peaceful, very quiet! It's a challenge getting up those hills but all in all it was a very nice place.

When we went to the cabin they was still there cleaning we had to wait 30 extra minutes. We was supposed to check in at 4pm and the cabin wasn't done cleaning till 4:30pm.
