Dee's Cottage at Brinsop

The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful countryside. Dee’s cottage overlooked the lake and the extensive gardens, which made my stay that much better. The hosts, Fiona and Pete, are very welcoming and helpful.

The property and location was absolutely beautiful. Pete was super friendly and helpful. When we were arrived we were greeted and taken on a little tour around the farm, we even got to meet all of the animals and pet the pigs which was an absolute highlight for us. We were made to feel incredibly welcome. Super clean, and had everything we needed. They even gave us some eggs! I can’t even describe how beautiful the area was. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you so much!

Due to an issue with Dee's Cottage, we actually stayed in the Cider House which we were advised was a superior apartment. The weather was vile and unfortunately we couldn't take much advantage of the very picturesque setting. The accomadation was comfortable, interesting historically & visually.

It was a cold miserable day and it took a while for the heating to take the chill off the apartment. We might be considered fussy but some aspects needed a makeover and some attention.

Great location as we were attending a wedding at Brinsop Court. Peter was very helpful with suggesting dinner locations. The cottage was very quaint and served its purpose.

The bed wasn’t great. The slats had come out which meant the bed sagged. The bedding & towels were awful. Old & faded. It needs updating.

Everything about the property was great.
