Location on bus route into town. Brilliant service. Ground floor property & bathroom/kitchen newly refurbished. Very, very clean.

Emptying of rubbish & recycling a little confusing. No grab rails in bathroom & bath did not have non slip mat.

Perfect location close to most attractions, promenade, shops, restaurants etc . Great communication with the host who was flexible and approachable, friendly and caring. Cleaning was spot on( although we ended up throwing our dinner on our first night in the bin, that was inedible due to a horrible taste from the oven, which we used - it's in desperate need of a clean!) Good shower pressure, water was always warm and nice.

Flimsy furniture - new chairs needed ( one has a shorter leg- please check! Pretty furniture won't be functional in the long term. The kitchen needs new utensils ( they have seen better days so please invest in better ones). Cups stained -not acceptable. A new set costs under £5 from Poundland. Garden looks sad and depressing. Some flower pots will make it look so nice...such a shame! A small hole in one of the chair seats. Bits of wood coming off in different places on skirting boards( front of the sofa, by the fridge and opposite, by the double bed) Bath panel is moving and poorly fitted and bathroom window can't be open. A choice of big bath towel, small hand towel /person would be good, instead of two bath towels per room ,one small hand towel for 3 of us only in the bathroom. Last but not least , having to take the black bin out myself after being charged £50 for cleaning is unacceptable.

The property was clean enough and the manager was excellent. Karen arranged replacement blankets and cushions due to my dog allergies and an additional mattress following previous feedback.

FYI The shower was too low and bath too high. The bed is also quite low.
