Heron's Rest

Lovely little cottage, beautiful location and dog friendly. Lots of walks available right from the front door. Everything was clean and tidy, and a nice little welcome pack of milk, biscuits and water was waiting in the kitchen. And it was chilly enough to get the fire lit in the evening that just added to the cosiness.

The place is warm and cosy with fire logs and kindling provided for those chilly evenings, the kitchen is luxurious and very comfortable to cook in. The bed were too soft for my taste, so something to be mindful of. Otherwise, the place is well located in a quiet corner of the Peak District, with a handy parking space.

This property is amazing on every level. The location is stunning, the cottage has everything you could need and the owners are excellent. I cannot rate this cottage highly enough and will be booking a return trip for this summer.

Amazing location Lovely view and so close to fabulous walks , nice pub along the road Felt relaxed as soon as we walked through the door of the property and it smelt lovely, upstairs Loved the fireplace and had everything we needed like a home from home would definitely recommend to others and already have , we hope to return!

Shower was a little tricky to get the right temperature but that was only a very slight inconvenience, more than happy with everything
