Wonderful area quiet and peaceful…. Very spacious unit with everything you will need 10 out of 10 Will definitely stay there again

Everything literally, can’t complain.

Roelien contacted me before hand with directions to get there and what to do once at the gate. She ensured that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She assisted with the best route to follow the next morning to get to our destination. We had to request a very early breakfast as times were adjusted for the race that we attended, and she went out of her way to accommodate us.

The place is big and beautiful from the outside. The bedrooms and the bathrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable. The welcome drink was just orange juice. The yard is huge. The decor is beautiful, but very much ignored, it's not taken care of. Its dirty.

I thought we were visiting a lodge - lodge. BUT ... This is just a house, nothing more. There is basically nothing to do there, it's just a place to sleep. There is no view to anything. The place is around the plots. So, I think the marketing was misleading. I didn't like the fact that the owner was literally on our faces, it's like we were watched, every step, my kids and I were very uncomfortable. We were out of the pool for 2 sec and there she was picking up the towels, I was busy at the basin washing a plate I wanted to reuse, there she was. We went upstairs to sleep hardly 2 minutes she was cleaning where we were seating. So, it was very uncomfortable. The sheets where my mom slept were offish. Like I mentioned, beautiful family house that needs thoroughly cleaning. The furniture was dusty, there were dead flies on the big dining room table. The table runners were old and dirty. I wanted to use the mixer in the bar, OMG, it was dirty and sticky with dead flies in it was just dirty; we never eat breakfast there we had to drive all the way to Irene for food. There are no shops nearby, there's just nothing there to do or see or enjoy. Also, on the website it was never mentioned that there are dogs. The road leading to the house is not good especially in the rain and using a small car. The owner never showed any interest in our stay, she never asked how we slept, if we needed anything, even on our check out, she never asked us anything. If one needs a place to sleep far away from the living, maybe this is the place. Plots, with no life, no view, no nothing but a swimming pool and 2 dogs....I mean even if you book a quite weekend getaway, you expect to see something, a view, hiking or something, here' dololo. Even the owner never recommended anything or places around, like I mentioned, it's like she was not interested. It was not worth the money.
