1 Bed in St Ives oc-seacft

I liked the view from the sitting room, the property was clean. It was also close to the ocean. There were clear instructions on accessing the house and other useful information. There was everything we needed for self catering. Adequate parking.

The bed was small for a double, wifi signal was slow and shower water pressure was weak

I felt very at home there, the bed was comfy, the bathroom clean, and there was everything you might need in the kitchen & entertainment in the lounge area, including smart tv (better than the one in the photos). Heating isn’t rationed, so I was able to use the towel rail when needed & towels weren’t sitting on it damp all night.

The leatherette couch was a bit slippery, but I put a throw over it and tucked it between the cushions, which worked well.

Everything was great couldn't ask for anything more

Schimmel in de badkamer. Bedompte geur in het hele huis. Afzuigkap werkt niet goed. Parkeerplaats erg klein Gehorig, we hoorden buren snurken en lopen op veranda

Garage for car, if no other spaces free. Property really clean, good equipment in cuboard plus a supply of holiday essentials eg washing up liquid etc. Printed out instructions of how to use oven with easy to follow steps.

Musty type smell on arrival, sorted out with opening of doors and windows, not ideal in November as it let's heat out as well, did resolve after a day of fresh air. Maybe consider getting trickle vents fitted to double glazing frames to allow more air flow when property is vacant? Also we noted that when the immersion comes on to heat the water towards the end of the time, you can hear the water bubbling in the cylinder, which we released by running the hot tap. This is making the water scalding when it comes out of the taps (possibly a warning sign above the hot taps?) Or contact a plumber/ heating engineer to turn the thermostat down, it will save you money too especially when the property is vacant. The above is not a moan just things we noticed (hubby is a charted surveyor and is always 'at work'!)
